but aren't many essential oils photo toxic and cause contact dermatitis on the skin?
@luckyvitamin
@luckyvitamin 5 жыл бұрын
It depends on what specific essential oil is used, how it is created, and how much you dilute the essential oils. Here are Dr. Bronner's suggestions for use: Face Just takes 2-3 drops on wet hands. Apply to wet face. Body One small squirt will do. Apply to wet washcloth then scrub. Hair ½ Tbsp in your hand. Work into wet hair. Or dilute the same amount in ½ a cup of water first and work that into wet hair. Bath Dr. Bronner’s Liquid Castile won’t bubble but it certainly cleans. Depending on water amount and tub size, about 2 Tbsp should be enough. If not, add more.

@irenereyes4342
@irenereyes4342 11 ай бұрын
That statement is false and was created by the detergent industry to make people stop using natural soap and start using synthetic detergents. But some of it is true... Some people have very sensitive skin and will have a mild reaction from it, but they can still use it in their hair and skin followed by an acidic rinse if too strong. Besides, Castille soap MUST be diluted with PLENTY of water, lowering the PH to around 8, the same as the ocean's water PH. Most people who live by and go often don't develop anything from being in the water too much. On the contrary, they rarely develop any skin conditions because that PH kills immediately any virus, bacteria, or anything they could have. I agree though with the hair, but having a vinegar rinse right after will resolve the issue.

You can try adding some lemon essential oil in your dish soap. It's less expensive than other essential oils and it cuts through grease. I add a few drops to my dish washing liquid. But I do put some castille soap in my dishwasher with a little bleach and it does get my dishes clean. Try putting some of the casrille soap diluted with water in a foaming pump bottle. I'm not sure about the ratio water to casrille soap. But I do know that more water should be added than the castille soap because the nozzle will get a thick residue of casille soap on it.

What way does this work with hard water?
@return2earthvideochannel
@return2earthvideochannel 5 жыл бұрын
If you want to dilute any soap with water - ALWAYS use distilled water. Most countries can deliver it to your door and then collect the empty bottles. We found in our lab that hard tap water significantly reduces the lather that is generated, meaning you need to use more soap to achieve the same result. The Dr Bronner liquid soaps are very economical to use if you dilute them with distilled water first. Ratio of 1 part soap to 3 parts water for maximum economy, 1 part soap to 1 part water produces a thick lather and is ideal for use in the bath or shower. Sure, litre for litre, Dr Bronner is more expensive than other soap products - but you are paying for an Organic chemical free formulation that does not harm humans or the environment.
