In this video Will explains how to use FL Studio's Newtone plugin. The NewTone editor is a pitch-correction and time manipulation editor. Slice, correct, edit vocals, instrumentals and other recordings easily.

Easier way is to first check the snap to scale or manually select the scale clicking on the scissors tool in newtone. And then correcting notes wont take much time

This is a Super Tutorial! Been using FL studio for a long time. been holding off buying the signature Bundle (due to finances). Includes Newtone and a bunch of other premium plugins that I wanted.

The only thing I can’t do is I can’t record the Newtone’s audio in the Edison and thing is that I don’t really know how could you pls tell me what should I do to make it happen do I have to change my input device or something

Dont use this plugin, it drastically reduces the sound quality, Never ever go for newtone, If you find any solution, pls share

Its useless because I have no idea how to move the timeline. For example, When I tune up the vocals, they only seem to appear on the beginning of the sequence and I cannot move them to where I want to e.g rather than from 1st bar I would like to start it on 30th... :(

I was super annoyed by this for a while with NewTime, and thankfully the same trick works with NewTone. You just do a loop selection in the FL playlist (Ctrl+drag on the time bar). Turn on host sync (the chain in NewTone) and right click, ignore host selection. Now when you play from the FL playlist, it will cause NewTone to play in sync. It's sort of painful, but it does make it usable in practice. Nice tutorial, btw, to the OP! :)

newtone plugin is highly unprofessional because it add unwanted noise in breathe, ss sounding word and artifacts. These effects continues even after you export your file. I would highly suggest to not to use this stock plugin
