How to use Flex Seal to repair gutter/eavestrough water leaks and fix loose nail without a ladder?

In this #DIYable video, I am going to how to use the #AsSeenOnTV product #FlexSeal and Gotcha sprayer pro adaptor to fix the gutter or eavestrough water leaks problem WITHOUT using a ladder 20 feet above ground. Then we will fix the loose nail on the gutter, of course not using any ladder.

Great video. You did a terrific job using the Go Pro to show close-up what and how you're using tools to fix this simple but annoying issue. My gutter has a large leak and I found this video. Glad to see Flex Seal worked so well. I think I'll use Gorilla Glue seal tape to seal the bottom, and spray something on the inside. My gutter is only 9 ft from the ground so using a ladder is no issue for me.

Trouble is the sprayed surface will leak again after 4 to 6 months because of expansion and contraction in hot summer weather and cold weather. Only a temporary four months fix approximately

It won’t last…. My flex seal gutter repairs (tried the spray and the glue) lasted an average of 2 to 3 months, depending on how much rain we got. And this is on the first floor, where I could go on the roof and give a good cleaning on the inside each time. I tried four times over three years. I gave up and put a trash can under the leak to catch the rain water and use the water on my plants.

I like DIY, and I like your vids. However, spraying liquid rubber willy-nilly is kind of dumb. Maybe if you have an old roof and don't care about spots of rubber being noticeable its ok. Otherwise, if you own a home 2 stories tall, get a ladder. HD has a 20' one for $249 CA$. I freely admit I'm cheap, however a ladder is something you will use multiple times if you own a house.

I hear you. I will definitely do that if it leaks again. I honestly don't think this fix will last for 10 years but amazingly it is fixed for now. We will see if Flex Seal is able to withstand harsh Canadian winter!!
