I hope this works on mirrors because my bathroom mirror has lost some of its “mirroring“ at the bottom, and I always thought if somebody could paint some flowers over that spot that would be wonderful. I’m hoping these transfers would do the job.

Hi there! They most certainly will do the job! I can't say how well it will stay with the mirror getting fogged up from showers, but I have a transfer on my glass soap dispenser in the bathroom and it's holding up wonderfully😊

Go to their FB page, you’ll see plenty of furniture artists and crafters post their work. These new transfers and the rest of this line is so detailed and beautiful. The shell mould and Holly Jolly stamp are stunning.

How I LOVE your transfers !!!! I tried to put one on a faux pumpkin....I should have cut it more into pieces like you just did.... and BOY ...they are not meant to be “removed”.... what an awful time to remove it from that pumpkin...😳😳😳😳. A good testament to how well they stick👍👍👍 ..... Beautiful, beautiful transfers ! Hard to pick which one to get... ALL! Have a blessed day ladies !

That's a great question! We don't know because we've never tried it... maybe do a little test on a sample board with a scrap piece of transfer? Another option to try would be to put a water-based poly on top or the dry embossing texture paste and see if that works. Let us know if it works - we're curious to hear! Thanks. 😀

Can I use regular old acrylics under your paint inlays instead of chalk or mineral paints? Love love you two.

Hi Susan! Yes you can! We recommend chalk type paint, as this works best, but any paint will work. The dry time might be a little less than what it would be with chalk paint though. Oftentimes you'll want to pull it before it's fully dry. Just play around with it, maybe try a little spot to test with first♥

I love your jobs girls !! ... I'm excited to start using transfers. But I have a doubt, I usually seal my furniture when finishing them with lacquers, I use the Flat High Performance of the General finish line and the Rust-oleum line, my question is if I can use it in the transfer? Ana Stele I believe lawyers contain solvents that may damage or deteriorate the transfers. Are your lacquers water based? You may want to ask google. I know laquer doesn’t have the longevity of water based sealers but I avoid anything with VOC’s so I’m not really familiar with it.

Hi Dolores! You can use our transfers on almost any type of surface! They do work best after a good chalk paint followed by a sealer and then apply your transfer 😊

I just discovered you last week and already on my first project. I have bought the MIDNIGHT GARDEN sheets, and painted my cabinet BLACK in Annie Sloan Chalk paint, My question is, now that I have watched a few KZfaq videos, I have not decided on placement of my sheets yet, but I notice that there is black flowers on the design so that would be a waste,,, can I just cut that flower out to use later and maybe add some colour there instead... Sorry if its a dumb question, :) The lovely man who sold me the paint/transfers was great. but watching someone else using the transfer on blue background I realise black on black isn't going to work, as it comes in 4 sheets, I do need to change it. :)

So, I have a question for you. Can you put these transfers on a table that is stained i.e. kitchen table? I had told a lady on Facebook who liked a table that had a hand painted flower to try your iod transfers (as she said she couldn't hand paint a flower), not thinking that you were suppose to use chalk paint, and I don't think chalk paint would stand up to the wear and tear of a dining table. Maybe you could do a video on this if it is possible? Thank you!🤔

Thanks for the video idea, Janet! All types of surfaces are great for our transfers! I would suggest your friend getting advice from her lovely IOD stockist regarding using the transfer on her particular product. Another idea is to pose the question to our IOD tribe group on Facebook to see if anyone has done that before and what their advice would be. Often group members will get comments on a post with advice or encouragement within a few minutes! Hi Judy! This is definitely doable!! You will want to use a UV protection sealer on it and also keep in mind that over time it will eventually start to fade, but it will be so very lovely! 😍💗

Hi, I was just watching your video about transfers. You said not to use solvent based over the transfers. Is this absolutely necessary. I'm very confused about products and have bought recently some solvent based antiquing products which I've been using over transfers and spraying with light coat of solvent based varnish/sealer. Have I done the wrong thing and wasted a lot of money ????. Do I have to use all water based products (which I dont like as much). I wish that I could figure this all out.
