Thank you. We spent 20 minutes trying to figure out why our Bluetooth headphones weren't working and while I was watching the video you said the headphones don't work if your sitting in the front seat. Once we sat in the back they worked fine.

That's not a bluetooth headphone then. That's an IR headphone.

Hello OnFair! I just bought a Multivan (2018) from germany - i'm from France - and it is equipped with RES. We can connect with usb/hdmi or duallink. Everything work, except sound. We got 2 headphones (vw) IR , and i tried many possibilities... no sound. I was sitting on my back seat , huh :). Even with Chromecast plugged in the rear usb/hdmi, great image but no sound. Headphones are equipped with on/off button, volume roll and ... that's all. Piles are new and work. Could you help me? Thx.

How do you get rid of IR wireless headphone static? I hear background static.

IR is line of sight, much like pointing a remote control at the TV to change a channel with older remote controls. If anything is blocking the IR signal between the transmitter (usually red lights) and the headphones, you'll hear static. Be sure to have a clear line of sight and you should get a clear signal. I have headphones of Lexus car as same as your like A and B written on that , but the question is can i connect this with my phone without wire ??? I am unable to connect this with my phone what should i do ?

It can't. Phones don't use IR. IR is not related to Bluetooth at all. They can't be adapted either. IR is a light signal while Bluetooth is a radio signal.

Most likely yes as our headphones use the industry standard IR frequencies to send the stereo signal to the headphones. If your Range Rover uses the same industry standard IR frequencies, they'll be compatible. Thanks and enjoy the drive!

I bought a car which had a flip down tv in it but I couldn't hear anything so I bought the autotain pair on amazon .....I just got them today and tried connecting them to the TV to get sound which unfortunately failed ...if you can help me out please it will be appreciated.

I had a similar issue. The Bluetooth doesn't work when your sitting in the front seat. But once you sit in the back seat it should work fine.

We just bought a 2014 Nissan that came with a DVD player and these headphones. I put new batteries in them and nothing. No sound on either A /B channels. Why and how can I fix this?

IR is line of sight, be sure to be sitting behind the DVD player IR transmitter (red lights) to get a clear signal. Also, make sure the IR transmitter is turned ON for the DVD player in settings. Hope this helps!

I bought these and the light is green in signal b but all I hear is static . I am sitting directly behind the DVD player of my gmc

You will need to turn the IR signal ON for your DVD player. Also, if it has a dual channel transmitter, you will need to select A or B channel. Also, remember to be sitting behind the unit where the red lights can transmit a clear signal.

It's IR, not Bluetooth. It can't connect to a phone. It can possibly connect to older televisions and car DVD systems.

It's not bluetooth. It's a much older technology that cannot connect to any phone. It's most common use is with car audio systems for built in TVs. There is no limit to the number of devices that can be connected. Bluetooth systems are limited in number of devices that can connect.

Most likely not. These are IR, your TV is most likely Bluetooth if it's newer. You may wish to check out our Autotain Bluetooth headphones if so. Thanks!

The newest tv brands, now have both IR/Bluetooth. That in mine, way not have a Gaming IR headset that is for sure if it has improved lol and (I don't own) a Bluetooth sound bar but that just gave me an idea 🤔 debating to buy Sony's new 900 or 950.

This video is for IR not Bluetooth. It's a different technology. We also have a Bluetooth version of this same headphone which you can use with your phone. I do everyday.
