@@Weeblicker I can have a couple substituted Cheeses that taste awful, don’t really know the specifics beyond how historically highly anaphylactic the allergy is, I just try to stay away from it.

Nice to see someone using enough pepper/salt to actually change the flavour of the food in a noticeable way. Too often you see someone grind 1/2 a second of salt/pepper into something so large that it will make no noticeable difference to the taste.

That's one hell of a traditional recipe, usually liked by older persons, and used to terrify/fortify children, also known as "Tue l'amour" (literally love killer), and the one I know is not made with wine but spirit (for any traditional alcohol, a recipe probably exists), good job to test that one

this is very similar to bavarian Obazda / Obatzter / Obatzda. its a protected desination recipe and its absolutely delicious, you should try it: must contain: minimum 40% cammembert / brie additionally Romadur, Limburger or Frischkäse (fresh cheese) butter, salt and paprika powder / paprika extract. optional ingredients: caraway, onions, herbs and spices, cream, milk, beer.
