As always extremely useful video. Got a quick question though. WIll the EV be same if the camera moves away from the subject or is there any principles like at what distance the camera must be placed from the subject according to the EV?

This is an incident light meter and there will be a difference when you move the camera farther away from the subject.It wont be drastic but there will be some light loss

Use flash meter with studio lights ,for on camera speedlights i feel camera TTL meter is much better
