@@BananaGamingYT I play CK3 at 40 fps(low setting) and slows down after some time due to ram bottleneck. Also it is not optimised for apple silicon.

I gotta say, I've been waiting for my MacBook Air to arrive for 4 weeks and I thought I'd watched every video there is about it. This video has some really good stuff no one else has in theirs, hot corner explanation, that swipe from off the track pad to open notifications too. Thanks for all the tips. If any of you changed to 3 finger window drag only to realize that now you can't use 3 finger gesture to swipe between full screens (desktops) even after reverting to not use 3 fingers to drag a window - Don't panic, you can still switch between desktops by using 4 finger gestures or Control+Left/Right Arrow keys instead. To revert to 3 finger gesture of switching between desktops, go to Trackpad settings in System Preferences > More Gestures tab, there click on the line under "Switch between full-screen apps" and choose the 3 finger gesture back. It should have done that by default but it's Mac, what can you do? Send feedback? lol

Thank you for this. I'm really struggling so far with my new M1, but I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to technology, so no surprises there. I'm really frustrated with the issue of extensions. I downloaded one, and so I thought I'd be able to use it. But when I clicked on it, it said that I hadn't "turned it on", which I could do in Safari preferences. I scoured those preferences for waaaay too long, and saw nothing that gave me an opportunity to enable extensions, whether generally, or with respect to specific preferences. Thanks Apple! I know it's probably just me, but I don't find it very intuitive on a lot of levels.

This is my first Mac, I had No Idea how HOT they run. HOLY HELL!! My palms are soaked after ten minutes of internet browsing. I have a little usb desk fan rigged up in a cardboard box right now while I look for a proper cooling/fan pad. I have a PC laptop that is just a touch less powerful than the Mac and it has Never Got This Hot.

It's my first Mac; what are Do's and Don'ts regarding battery? Should I only charge it once it gets really low? Can I just leave it charging while I'm using it or will that damage the battery cycles once it's disconnected from the charger?

hey, I'm running into a problem witch im curious if you know how to solve it because I can't lol. Im running a sort of MacBook setup with a redragon rgb keyboard and rgb mouse pad and rgb mouse and when I turn off my Macbook [I think its called putting it to sleep but I didn't shut it down completely] everything else is still on... it gets annoying when im just trying to sleep n my laptop is off but my keyboard and mouse and mousepad are just on and bright af.

There are certain apps that are the system default. The Notes app was in area that displays the most recently used apps.

The Hot Corners is a game changer. One thing that was really frustrating is that the first time I had to enter my password to get into the computer the password didn't work and I had to spent 30 minutes figuring out how to reset my password and it was a NIGHTMARE!! Has anyone had this happen to them?

How do I uninstall an app? For example: I downloaded spotify from their website. Sometimes the app is crashing. I wish to uninstall the spotify app and i will use the web version only. How do I uninstall it please?

@@ObjectFit It's not working on my Macbook M1. The Macbook will turn on again if the keyboard button is pressed while cleaning.

@@mztgr7 Oh yea well you gotta be careful of the power button start in the bottom left and make your way to the tip right last then it will turn on but you also don't have to press so hard if you wipe it with chemicals then the cleaning is being done chemically not because of the abrasion. Also you can get keyboard gel if you are really OCD about dust
