I'm just starting MESBG and this is great even for matched/open play games. I can save the profiles of my dudes and have them all in 1 place instead of flipping around the Armies of the LOTR book. Thanks very much!

I had good experiences with giving things like shield and armour the defence characteristic. But of course when you create the profiles you habe to subtract this value and give him the wargear after that, so that it goes back to the normal value. Like this you can for example, when your warrior gets a heavy armour, just take the armour away and give him the heavy Armour with +2D characteristic and the stats get automaticly updated. Helps to keep your armory small.

I would absolutely love for when this app can be made into an apk file or if it can be utilized on my phone without having to go through the internet (unless I am missing something obvious), saving battery life on those long game days.

I'm creating the profile for a moria blackshield, which has a shield included in its base profile, which along with the heavy armour ups its defense to 6, i assume. How do i get the manager to recognise this? I added the shield that was in the armoury to the profile, but it then adds the effect, whihc i assume it's not supposed to?

QUESTION! Can you COPY a unit card??? Rather than going through the long tedious work of manually adding 20 rohan warriors which are all the same!!! I can't find a copy function anywhere. Such a shame. Great work otherwise tough

I need some help. I only have interest in playing the battle companies play style for this game. Beyond the rule book, what do I need? I know I'll need the battle companies book, but I'm struggling do I need the armies book to get the unit profiles that I'll end up buying?

Yes, you would need either the Armies of LOTR or Armies of the Hobbit book (depending on which you want to play) in order to get the unit profiles. If you only want to do battle companies, then that should be all you need.
