That's a great idea! We'll keep that in mind. Setting up profiles for idrive 7 is how I usually start my deliveries.

BMW Lauren we have two G05 X5 and a m4 and I have never been shown how to do it!

@@iainchatuge Those are a bit different. Your X5 has idrive 7, but your M4 does not. If you have set up a profile with BMW, or a BMW Connected account, you can go to your driver profile screen (on your X5) and log in with that same info. Your username is your email and password. When you log in, it will start fresh and not have any previous setting you may have been using or saved. It's a good idea to log into the car, because you can set Valet Mode and also transfer your preferences and things into another BMW (with idrive 7)

I think it's a setting in Idrive...general settings..language..speaking during voice output.

Cristiano Monteiro if you’re on the home menu with the tiles, just tap the map icon and It opens it fully

Cristiano Monteiro if you’re not on idrive 7 (2020) and beyond, it won’t work. Otherwise, I can’t imagine that yours doesn’t do it.

The BMW navigation is functional and simple. One of the advantages of Apple Car play is that you can use your Apple Maps, Waze, and Google Maps for navigation and have it on the screen. We do not yet have Android Auto. I particularly like BMW navigation. On new cars, it comes with live traffic updates, different views/layouts to choose from, and it's very easy, fast, and shows you what lanes to be in. I always encourage my clients to use it and they're usually happy to use it when I've taught them how to use it properly.

@@papashango3880 There are privacy and sharing issues that is concerned with Android devices, which is the reason why BMW has not used them in their vehicles. We will have Android Auto later this year.
