Die DÜRR DENTAL SE wurde 1941 von den Brüdern Karl und Wilhelm Dürr aus Gechingen im Schwarzwald als feinmechanische Werkstätte in Stuttgart gegründet. Der heutige Firmenhauptsitz ist in Bietigheim-Bissingen. Hier werden circa 480 Mitarbeiter in den Bereichen Produktion, Forschung und Entwicklung, Einkauf sowie Vertrieb und Marketing beschäftigt. Die DÜRR DENTAL Gruppe hat derzeit über 1.300 Mitarbeiter weltweit, erzielte 2022 einen Umsatz von ca. 360 Millionen Euro mit Kunden in über 148 Ländern.
