I have a question considering the duration of each activity in the network. Do we use the mean time of the activity or the most-likely time??As my teacher in the college said that we use the most-likely time and I'm a bit confused.

please with timing labelled A, M and B does A represent optimistic, M the most likely and B the pessimistic. If yes, then why is activity A most likely timing greater than the pessimistic timing that is B.
