I'd like to add that this is what helped me with my issue. I enabled XMP profile on my 5600X 3070ti build without updating my bios and then had no signal to my monitors. Following this video fixed my problem. I used an old 2.0 USB drive and my laptop to download the latest version of my mobo's bios. Thanks a bunch!

Out of curiosity which revision board do you have, which bios did you use, and if possible, which usb drive are you using. Have tried like 6 usbs. 2 got to the flashing fast and ended with a solid light before turning off. Never made it to slow flashing and the system fans and psu fans never started up.

Its an old drive, USB 2.0 Patriot something or other, 8gb. Mine is revision 1.0, and I forget the bios at the time, it was whatever was most recent when the video was made (Jan 2021) so now they have a couple versions more recent

Hey there! I'm currently building an sff using the same motherboard. But, when going to the BIOS, it misread my ram as 32 gb 2400 mhz, despite my actual ram being 16gb at 3200 mhz. That being said, i havent updated the bios, might this be the issue?

I've never heard of a misread the actual amount of ram, i dont think this is a Bios issue, however i suppose it could be. The speed you will have to manually set, part of the OC profile on the RAM which the mobo should detect. Did you get it sorted?

Hi, on renaming the bios file, should I also replace the file extension? For example; Original file name: B55IAPAX.17C New File name: GIGABYTE.bin.17C or GIGABYTE.bin? Thanks in advance.

It should be GIGABYTE.bin (I think in the original file .17C is just how they organize it on their server, its not a file extension, maybe the .bin is hidden, and I think this is why the rename is necessary) global.aorus.com/blog/How-to-Update-Your-BIOS-Part-2.php

@@ethanmanley3341 Its been a few months since however I will be flashing this board 3 days (Tuesday) with a Sandisk driver freshly bought and will let you know. Also you might have had trouble Z C if the USB stick had too much memory capacity, or potentially too many components were plugged in as doing it fresh may be best. I will let you know how I fair.

@@calebsomething1712 Hey. How was it? I have an issue too. 3500 works no issues. Then I got the 5600x, everything turns on but no post. So I will apply these steps to mine. What name should the bios file be renamed to?

@@SwitChildku I personally flashed the board with a USB 3.0 Stick and had no problems when using it with my motherboard. I will link the instructional video I used as it may help.

I downloaded the bios version that supports my 5600x and when I do the flash the usb stick flickers and my fans come on but my motherboard qflash led doesn’t flash at all. Not sure what’s up.

if you wait it out does it boot? sometimes it does that as it reboots but then it should come on

@@DouglasHewitt no it didn’t. I had to put my 3600 in for it to boot then update the bios and then the 5600x worked. I had to do it the old way because it would not qflash past version f30 for some reason.

Oh interesting, glad you got it sorted and glad you had a 3600 on hand. I guess I got lucky mine worked and I didnt have any other zen cpu so I would have been SoL

It's fine, still my main PC, I just use it for games so not daily, but it always works. Just updated to Win 11 actually since it was finally suggested by the auto updater, surprisingly seamless

hey dude, I can only pray you still check YT notifications. I have the same problem on my computer, however I managed to get to the screen you have at 2:18. when I reset from here thought, I go straight back to no signal black screen and have no chance to get into the bios. I've never successfully made it back to any screen again, the flash works does all the lights pc boots but still no screen!! please help.

oh shoot! sorry your prayers were answered 2 months later. Did you get it sorted by any chance? I'm actually not sure what happened from your description, sounds like the flash wasn't totally successful?

Please tell me how you did it , i updated bios and now have no display the gpu fans spin on and off , i tried pressing the qflash but nothings changed . Do you press it when everything is disconnected or while the pc is on?

Well wait, you press the button to update the bios (when the PC is on), if the bios is already updated no need to press the qflash button. Did you fully power cycle it? Did you get it fixed?

@@DouglasHewitt yes i fixed it , just needed to turn everything off , load the bios on the usb and connecty the power cabler , then qflash worked perfect . thanks a lot i thought i bricked my board lol

Hey thanks for the video. I have the same issue with the same mainboard and same CPU but cant get the system to post. I build it, then started it but get no output on the Screen like at all. i tried to switch to other ram, GPU even CPU but it doesnt work either. I then tried to flash the bios. it blinks for a couple minutes and then stops after some time, but the system doesnt shut down so i switch off the psu. Any idea what could be wrong?

I'm sorry I'm not sure, I don't have the PC with me anymore. Which CPUs did you swap it out with? can you try an older one known to work with integrated graphics just to limit possible variables?

@@DouglasHewitt I switched it with a ryzen 7 3700x from a working PC. All the parts I switched were from a working PC, but the old one just didnt want to post. So I sent back the Mainboard and got a new one. Had the rev 1.2 and now got a rev 1.3. I then build it and it posted on the first try. So the Mainboard was the problem. Thank you for replying.

Yeah, not my best vid, I made it too hastily, and now I don't even have the computer anymore so I can't answer the common questions which have come up, so my apologies.
