general info, not all requests are for data, a request could be to turn on/off a device or to send data to the webserver which then acts on it, e.g. sending instructions thru url which then are sent on via usb hid to host pc (macro pad)

does it work the same way if i only use a network without internet? f.e. rpi--router--pc + a direct connection rpi (wlan)--pc i'd like to have the rpi storing ALL software and providing a wifi network when plugged in. than i'd like to have acces to one constant running programm (inputs&outputs). i guess it needs to be 2 tasks. one for the web interface/api/whatever its called + one for the main programm.. i'll be thankfull for every tutorial or information.. tried to have a look at pctoprint but its to much stuff going on to get a overview how they did it..
