Thanks for the video - well done. This is a song that benefits from all the reverb tricks you used. When mixing my songs, I always feel like people will view the reverb as trying to hide my sub standard vocals (which it probably does!) - so I tend to cut back to the bare minimum with reverb. Perhaps it is time to revisit that.

Hello! On my aging iMac I found Neoverb to be a bit of a CPU hog so I stopped using it. Has / Will their be a fix to this anytime soon?

Sorry to hear about the CPU trouble. If your machine is aging then the issue is likely your CPU is slowing down and no longer reaching the right clock speeds. Something that may help is streamling your session workflows to give your CPU more headroom for processing. Also since Neoverb is 3 reverbs in 1, you don't have to use all three at the same time. You can turn them off and just use one or two. The following steps will likely improve the performance of all plug-ins, not just iZotope, within your DAW: - Increase the buffer size. This will introduce additional latency, but will make your DAW session much easier for your processor to handle. iZotope plug-ins are primarily designed for the mixing stage of the production process, and in these circumstances latency doesn't typically impede one's mixing workflow. - Decrease the sample rate of your project. Higher sample rates demand that your processor perform a greater number of calculations at a higher speed, while lower sample rates allow your processor a greater amount of time in which to perform the tasks necessary to your DAW work. - Close all other applications while working in your DAW. This will help your processor designate greater resources to running the DAW and the plug-ins therein. - Disable as many unused plug-ins within your DAW session as possible. Most DAWs offer a "freeze" or "flatten" function, which allows the DAW to record audio signal affected by plug-ins as an audio file, thereby disabling extraneous plug-ins. This can yield profound improvements to your processor's/DAW's performance.

Thank you for the reply and CPU boosting tips @iZotope. I will experiment further, including turning off the unused algorithms. I do enjoy Neoverb, as I do most iZotope plugins. Neutrons sculpture can be a very useful tool. I have many years of experience working on mixes with not-so-state-of-the-art machines so I know a few tricks but neutron can still be troublesome compared to other reverbs. ✌️
