Ever wonder how Grooming Pros use professional grade shampoo? Many groomers use a Bathing System (which we describe for you in the video), but many smaller shops make use of high-concentrate shampoo and dilute them in a mixing bottle. Come watch how it's done! And we made sure to cover some safety information for the storage and handling of your shampoo and mixing bottles (it's important!) at the end of the video. Hope this explains how this all works!

👎 This is absolutely the wrong way of diluting‼️ Such a measuring scale on the bottles was created by the manufacturer specifically to make you waste more product‼️ This method ignores the size of your dog.‼️ For example, if you need to wash a mini Yorkie, then you do not need 1 liter of mixed liquid, you only need 320-400 ml of water and 20 ml of shampoo mixed in a bowl and this is at a dilution of 1:16 But using this bottle you will spend 900 ml of water and 100 ml of shampoo for one wash🤯 Plus the shampoo won't dissolve because there isn't enough free space left in the bottle to shake. So don't buy those stupid mixing bottles‼️

Hi, thanks for contributing! Yes, not every dog requires a full bottle for their bath, so if it's your only client that day (or u are home grooming your pet), you dilute same ratio but smaller amount of both parts. The bottle markers don't help in this case since you're doing it by eye. But frankly, in a busy salon, you use 1/4 or 1/2 of the fully mixed bottle on one dog, then use the remainder on the next, and so on. In high volume luxury salons, this system works great and is economical. But I can see how it is different when working on one pet, and if u don't reduce the mix specific to that pet, yes, you waste product. Good discussion, thanks for your input!

@@GinasGrooming Thanks for your kind reply! Yes, perhaps for salon groomers this is not so important especially when they buy these products by the gallons and have huge discounts. But after all, the buyers of these mixing bottles are ordinary pet owners, and not pro groomers to whom the manufacturer already provides these bottles for free along with the products. Look at the reviews in the online stores of those who bought these bottles, these are all ordinary owners who wash their pets themselves. As well as your videos that are made for such people, and not for pros. I think your viewers would be much more grateful for correct and honest instructions for using pro shampoos and conditioners, but not for how your supplier recommends it. Fortunately there are still more decent brands (CC for example) who indicate on their mixing bottles just a measuring scale in ml. instead of a false dilution scale.
