In this free tutorial video, Dan Cooper from Pro Tools Expert demonstrates how to use supported UAD plug-ins in Softube's new Console 1 MkII software using the Console 1 control surface. It would be great if Softube would publish the standard like MIDI CC for the Mackie MCU so other manufacturers could enable their plugins to support it. I have all manufacturers' plugins (UAD, Plugin Alliance, Softube, Eventide, Air, Logic Pro, Studio One, etc.). I don't like a one/two trick pony; it is a good deal for $499 supporting UAD but it would GREAT if other plugins are supported.

He's right. After getting a console 1 mk2 I mix alot faster and its native plugins sounds amazing so adding uad to it is more amazing

Softube has great sounding plugins. I would like to see softube make an external hardware like UAD to process the sound before the track.

Why? So you pay more for using Softube? It doesn't make it sound any better Any modern computer can handle the DSP required for running this plugins So you have been sucked in by the UAD marketting, unfortunately. Have a great day making music!

I think he means something like a UAD Apollo that enables you to track with Softube plugins. At the moment, using DAW monitoring and adding a plugin on an insert increases the latency too much to be usable...

Hello Dan, Are you able to use the Softube to control UAD plugins within your DAW, but while looking at the actual UAD plug instead of the Softube interface? Meaning, could I drag an 1176 onto an insert of my kick, click on the plugin to bring up the actual UAD plug interface and then reach for my Softube control to tweak settings? The Softube console interface is nice but I'd rather be looking at the UAD plug while tweaking settings. Cheers

I can't help but notice that you not only have 1-20 on "Select Track", but you also have 21-40 above that. This is a MKII? I have a MKII as well and it doesn't have that. From all the pictures I've seen, including the ones on their website, I don't see that anywhere. Where did you get yours?

Console one controller only talks to the console one plugin, the larger c24 controller only talks to Pro Tools. They both work independently but within the same environment

You said UAD And n snare.. then choose a FET comp which is Softube not UAD.
