I notice excessive shrinkage after it’s cured (i wait at least 2 days) Like to 2/3 of original size. Is that normal? I’m afraid if I insert my stem i wont be able to remove the stems later as they keep on shrinking 😢

Does the foam come off easily if I have to take it off the container? Also is it easy to insert the floral stem through it when it has dried?

The foam will not come out of the container easily unless you first line the container with something like a plastic bag. Once the foam is dried down completely it is easy to insert the floral stem. 😊

Will the foam be ok to spray in a metal ornamental garden planter ? I wanted to arrange plastic flower stems in it before hanging it out on my balcony wall . But not sure if it will hold them in firmly with the uk weather!

In my experience, the spray foam has worked in metal containers. If you would like, you can also line your container with a plastic bag before adding the spray foam so that you can remove it from the container later if you want.
