I just want to say that I am a customizer as well and I agree with you to not steal peoples work. This video is awesome. You are a great teacher. You explain things well, and I have been customizing for quite some time but some of the things you’ve said about creating your stencil, showing the screens and then executing those things is phenomenal. I appreciate you and you need to make more videos because you’re very informative and up and coming sneaker customizers need you.

@@moe_kickz yo, Merry Christmas to you and your family but I do want to say stop trippin. You’re an absolute beast. All you have to do is believe in yourself and all that doubt will melt away. I have been customizing for about five years and to see what you do, it seems so effortless when you do it. I know that when I customize it’s a lot of work and a lot of people don’t see what you do behind-the-scenes but I absolutely love your work and you’re a grinder, I can tell. Just keep going, you are an amazing artist.

nice done. your description and video work is clear and concise, thus very digestible for other enthusiasts to use thos3 techniques themselves. Fyi: the pattern for the backend of the show is known as a “paisley” print, and the rubber tool is called a frisket eraser

Wow u did ur things with these customs. Amazing artwork with the bandana design. I'm just starting out with customizing my own Merch. I really wanna learn on some airbrush techniques cause it would save me time instead of paint brushing certain areas. Merry Christmas 2 u & ur fam.

Id love to see how to cut a detailed stencil like this without it messing up the cut. When i cut fine or intricate stencils my cricut always messes it up

Try recalibrating your machine and see if that helps 🤷🏽‍♀️

How long after you have finished the sneaker do you apply the top coat on the sneaker?

You want to make sure the paint is fully dry so I’d say at least 30 minutes to be safe. Since you’re applying thin layers of paint it makes it easier for it to dry faster.

What kind of transfer paper to you use? My stencil always sticks to it and I can never get it to stay on the shoe

What recommendations do you have that when I remove my stencil my paint keeps lifting after allowing the paint.

Make sure each coat of paint is THIN and fully dry before adding another layer of paint. If you’re laying the paint on too thick all at once it’s going to lift when you peel the stencil off. Another issue could be if you’re using an airbrush and adding thinner to your paint, you could be adding too much thinner and that could also cause the paint to lift.
