Tekken 7 Steve guide showing how to use Steve’s punishers for punishment and defense. I use frame data to setup Steve’s mix-ups and frame traps. This involves using his stances such as sway, duck, weave, flicker and peakaboo to employ his best moves and deny movement. Some of these are counterhit launchers such as b1 and df+2 and can lead to combos and juggles provided you can do Steve’s Shiro combo. Others are a poweer crush and can grant a knockdown or wall splat. They can also be used to setup oki. I also show how to use Steve’s duck to build pressure and his blue spark moves. This includes using Steve’s guard break and his duck cancel into wildman. In addition I explore Steve’s grabs and throws. During rage, Steve also gains special moves such as rage art and rage drive, both of which can be used as punishers.
In the future I intend to provide more overview of Steve, including his basics and essentials and his BNB. I aim to create a beginner guide and a complete breakdown showing how to play Steve. I also intend to show tips and tricks using Steve as well as the tech he has.
