It's really hard to fault Esther. Luckily, since she isn't Rizer, I can come up with one or two flaws. Most notable that she isn't Rizer.
Can't think of much else though.

Technically, next week is Ash Wednesday, which marks the start of Lent, culminating on Easter. Soo she is kinda tangentially Easter related.

I did one run of the banner (12k) and on 2nd step got THREE Esther's! 2 in a row then blue to nv, ALL Esther. NEVER happened before ever

Well, I was determined to do at least one lap, and...I got super lucky. On step 3, I got her, and on step 4, I got 2 more! Now I just need enough VIP coins to get 20 shards, and I'll be all set to get her to EX+2! I'd love to get her to EX+3, but I'm not gonna sweat that right now. Hopefully we get the shard map again soon, buh. XD

I am similarly hyped for Esther! But I have nowhere near the amount of lapis to realistically pull for her. I'll just save for now and hope for the best down the line.

I went hard on her banner and I don't regret it, she was the first 5 star unit I ever got and my reason to keep playing the game, that said the lack of Moral buffs is a bit underwhelming considering this is supposed to be her CoW boss. I got 1 from summoning and pitied another, got her shards from the bundle and after a few more summons managed to get another copy so I was able to get her EX2.

Excellent video. I got lucky on. 3rd banner pull I got her. Waiting to build up enough lapis to try 4th step. Here’s to hoping I get a second at least so I can ex+1 her and have two copies of stmr

Thank God managed to pull her twice during my quest to hit pity. Might be tempted to purchase the paid banner to get her shards. Hope to get that new NV Sylvie for easter too lol

I got her to EX2 before doing 20 pulls and since her nv card is meh since it doesn't have flat stat attack, I will save the lapis for future units instead Also since I saw sinzer and others saying at the beginning the Karten was meh and didn't pull for him is one of my biggest regret since he is in every top score team and since she is flexible like him I went for her Still hoping that they will fix her with more morale base attack skills in the near future and upgrading the old version stmr for more flat atk stat

I really want to get her especially since her non NV form can literally hold her own against 5 NV units in the arena and win (trust me I tired it) I can't really afford her tho, same for dragoon guess I'll wait to pull her from a random draw when I wanted a different unit.(like what usually happens)

I think one thing everyone should do is always default to starting battles in her BS form. If you have her tmr or stmr equipped, she gets 20 lb crystals at start of battle plus preemptive physical cover. She has true unlimited brave shift so it doesn't matter if she starts in this form. 😁 Posting this everywhere I can...

Spent 5k and 53 tickets for 75 combined units from her banner. I also spent 20x 1/10 tickets for 2 NVs and EX tickets for 255(+2) combined EX pool units. Skye #8 was my only banner pull. But, along with Tifa, Taivas and Olivera from my EX tickets, I got Esther from my 245th EX pull. Not planning on spending more for her. But may pivot my lapis for the GLEX card and a hope that I get Kain.

Wow For being first GL premium unit she surely is damn impressive. FFBEGL really knows how to create fun and strong units. Still didn't pull for her, BUT I did the appreciation stuff multipulls and got quite some gems there, including my first AkstarCleome, second Celes almost ready for 2★, first SKYE, and first TAIVAS, Heck yeah!! Super lucky! Also got like my seventh RainFina

I got 2 of her on my second pull. I think I´ll stop there, get the rest of the shards from the shard dungeon to make her EX2.

I returned to game after around 4 years when 7 star units just started, still confused with all the developments & sheer numbers of units, can't decide who to enhance for support or tanking & buffer or debuffer or healer. Got 3 SS Esthers, from what I understand that she is a tank in her brave shift form & physical damage dealer her normal form. So I can upgrad 1 esther to brave shift & 2 only normal form as damage dealers? Also any advice on the rest of the roles?

I recommend using the extra SE Esthers to upgrade 1 SS Esther to max. You can get other units to fill the roles of damage dealer or tanker, and only focusing on one unit will make her do better damage because the vision card and stmr are useful

Im a f2p player is it worth to pull for esther or should i still keep my lapis for KoG

From what I hear that unit was not that useful outside of its card soon after its release because many bosses were light resistant. Esther seems like a somewhat safe bet for f2p because she seems flexible and It's possible she will get future updates. Myself am undecided yet, am at 80k but I did skip grauf and kain so I feel like I will go for her, have to look into it more. You have to decide if you are willing to use 60k, that is alot for f2p but the last two banners have been pretty bad too with fragments so the difference between the last two banners and premium is not much imo.

I got her on some lucky tickets. As a regular unit, she seems fairly strong and extremely good in her niche (this CoW). But as a Premium unit... She just doesn't cut it. As an LB damage dealer, she needs partners because she chains rather than caps. There aren't good partners and the skill is locked to lightning damage. Also, she lacks Warring Spirit (edit: or better yet, Unleashed Power so she actually starts with her LB). Is this the first Premium until without insta burst? The rest of her kit feels a little lacking. She really could have benefited from a built in triple cast BS skill. Like Laura and Karten have. Even still, she lacks morale abilities in base form. She feels rushed, incomplete. Like she (and her event) are being released a month and a half early. On one very nice note, Esther's boots that give electro absorb work on her as well. So that helps tanking quite a bit.

Considering her LB costs 100 crystals, even if she got warring spirit she wouldn't have a T1 LB. She would need the CG protagonists ability, Unleashed Power.
