In today's video I share with you how to use the Adobe Scan app. I thought that it would be helpful to share a tutorial on how to use Adobe Scan to show you how easy it is to use! I mentioned this app in a recent video where I decluttered papers. It is a great way to declutter lots of paper by storing documents digitally!

My name is Joy. I’m a mom of three older kids - my oldest just graduated from college, my middle is in college, and my youngest is in high school. I have been a SAHM since my oldest was a year old, only having a couple different part time jobs over the years once all my kids were in school. I have also enjoyed volunteering with several non for profit organizations. About a year ago I started my own business doing in home organization here in Austin, Texas as a professional organizer! I want to share some of the tips and tricks I learned from being a SAHM for over 20 years.

@Bill Sbac Yeah, I can totally understand how that would be problematic for some people. I don't use this app for any sensitive information. More so for receipts regarding home maintenance or car maintenance. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to share your thoughts!

Awwww, thank you so much! We are surviving! Our pipes froze overnight Sunday - Monday, so we’re going on day 3 of no water. We have rolling blackouts, but so thankful that we have power periodically so our house can warm up a little! Thanks so much for asking! And thanks for watching!😊🤍✨

This was a super helpful - and to the point (!) - tutorial on using Adobe Scan App, thank you! I have zillions of receipts for my business and have a goal for 2024 to get my receipts and other papers digitized to cut down on clutter. This was very helpful to get an overview to see how this works. Definitely getting the Adobe Scan App !

You know, that is a good question. I have never tried that. It converts it into a PDF, so maybe if you had the software to edit a PDF document? Thanks for watching!😊

Hello, up until recently this App worked very well. But now I scan a document, send it to me via email, and have to wait weeks until it arrives in my mail program. What can I do?

Thanks for watching! You can save it as a JPEG and email to yourself, or you can email the link. There might be an easier way, but this is what I do.😊

My bank app lets me scan receipts though I haven't started doing that yet and am unsure where it's stored or how it's controlled or the privacy on that. Otherwise, I keep watching note scanning app videos every so often to see if this is something I want to do. I use up a lot of paper otherwise. Nice video!

Well, my adobe scanner doesn't do anything. It says go to your settings and allow access. What settings???

It may need access to your camera. That is how it scans is by taking a photo of the document to turn into a PDF. Go into your settings and find the Adobe Scan app and there should be a toggle option to turn on the camera. I hope that helps!😊

How can I get Adobe to remove hyphens so I can hear whole words? My vision is declining from Macular Degeneration. Thanks.

That’s a great question! I Googled this question and found that in a PDF document you can go to the control panel or paragraph panel to deselect hyphenation. I don’t know if that will work in this app. I’m sorry I’m not more help. Unfortunately I’m not an expert with this app, I was just sharing basic usage. Thank you for watching my video!😊

Can't it scan faster if you flip pages? Doesn't it have settings on how to name every page and if to use the flash and do this automatically?

I’m not sure what you mean by scan faster if you flip pages. I have not had the need to name each page so I haven’t explored if it has that feature. Yes, the flash automatically is enabled while using this app. Thanks so much for watching!😊

It is a process if you have a lot of paper you wanna scan in, but once that is done it's pretty easy to keep up with!🙌

I believe there is software that can convert PDFs to JPEG.

Technology is supposed to make our life eadier but it's sickening how we need to do hours of research on things like "how to scan documents" all these apps are over completed and annoying.
