It's hard to tell the difference. The benefit of using this method is that you can still monitor it on an external screen when GoPro is recording, while the iPhone app stops the realtime feed.

I don't think so. DJI cam doesn't have HDMI output.

Does this work on other versions of the GoPro, 8, 9, 10? I heard that you can't play what you are recording on the iphone through the app while recording is in session on the 9, but I am not totally sure what they meant by that. Not sure if this mod would solve that problem, and that is just an issue on the goPro app?

Yes, it works with all GoPros as long as you have the MediaMod accessory with micro HDMI output. I'm not sure I understand your comment about playing video iPhone. iPhone is just a display using the Accsscon app via the capture card. You can do whatever you want on iPhone even if the GoPro is recording. See my KZfaq review for more details.

The problem I encountered is: when an Android phone (Galaxy S22 Ultra) is connected to the Nano, if there are media files in the Gopro (10 Black), opening Accsoon See and selecting "MONITOR" can only see the media file page and thumbnails, rather than real-time monitoring. Yes it does. But did you know the live view cannot be used when it's recording? Not to mention that iPhone needs to be connected to the GoPro WiFi hotspot for live view monitoring, which means the iPhone will lose internet connectivity.

The front facing monitor made by gopro for H12 is $79.99....why would u spend $179 on a 3rd party accessory to do.....the exact samething? Not being a jerk, just want to know why you do it this way for more $$$ then just buy all gopro accessories? I have H12, volta,MediaMod,Led-Mod and Max lens 2.0 myself. I do like this accson accessory but just not at that price point.
