So I am glad you did this review because I almost bought this. But after watching, seeing what is all involved, cost of sheets, mug, and what you need to do to make this work, I think I will stick with just ordering my mugs online with the designs I make.

Great detail in the video! Easy to learn from how you made it. In the Coffee design, what happens to the excess sheet? Can that be used as is? Is it okay to just cut it from the beginning before putting it in the mat? Thanks!

do u need parchment paper when using mug press without infusible ink? also do u always have 2 select "mirror" when using designs for the mug press. excellent tutorial

I got a 4 pack of these cups from Jo-Anns and thought this would be fun. My mom has a cricut and we could do this once in a while. The mug press it $200 and I wanted to see how it worked before purchase. Maybe I'll buy one for Christmas.

Did you use Butchers Paper/Greaseproof Paper around the mugs before putting them in please? I saw that if you don't do that the ink can imprint onto the inside of the mug press. Which way is correct please?

Just tried cutting and weeding my design, but only the colored infusible ink was cut properly, the white paper underneath the ink is still on the clear backing. Will it still transfer ok?

I don't have a Cricut cutting machine. I have a silhouette cameo. Is this mug press compatible with the silhouette machines? Can I use silhouette software to design and silhouette machine to cut out my design? Can I connect the Cricut mug press to the silhouette software rather than downloading cricut software?
