Many adult English language learners make mistakes in vocabulary and grammar because they studied and memorized rules, usually through translations. So they got in the habit of thinking and translating when they speak, and often struggle to find the right words or grammar. Instead, you must understand grammar the way natives do, by contrasting words. This video shows you how, so you can develop the habit of using the right grammar, and express yourself fluently. :)

My first actual english experience was an interview to the internship which I did in India back in 2014, since then I came back to Brazil and didn't need to speak english anymore. Luckily i found one of your videos which was about having self conversations describing things with different words in different ways. I can say that was the most important practice to not lose my english after all these years, and i can say that it is much better nowadays. Thank you very much for your precious tips and advices!

Drew, thank you so much for your videos! Please suggest more KZfaq channels where bloggers speak in simple words like you. I understand your speech, but when I turn on other bloggers, I don’t understand. They speak too quickly and in complex words.

The beautiful thing about your videos is explanation. It's so clear, interesting and simple to understand. Could you please explain what is the difference between such expressions as to drink up, bottoms up, swig, sip, gulp down and wolf down, gubble down etc. I know the meaning all of these but I don't know when to use them. Probably we use them in our daily life. By the way, I've watched your video about food and diet, learned much more expressions.

Hi, thanks for your great English class. I have a question: In 44:17 minute, you were saying: 'I recommend you go back and watch that video.' Is this sentence correct when are using the word 'recommend'? As far as I know, a person can't recommend anything to another person, or anybody can't be recommended. Will you please clarify it?
