the chute where you insert the vegetable seems it has size limitations which'll always have you eyeballing smaller produce you plan to spiralize I would think. Too much chop up than other models I've been looking at this afternoon.

Does it work on sweet potatoes ? Those are much harder in consistency than regular potatoes

How is there waste? You keep the leftovers and put them in a plastic bag and freeze them and add to soups or whatever.
