25% of 100 = 100% of 25 you can move the percent sign commutatively to get the same answer, a more useful one is like 4% of 25 = ?, well we know 25% of 4 = 1, and since we only moved the percent sign, we get 1 as out answer. basically you can use it to get weird percentages of numbers. edit: added example

@@dawsonjudice2161 yes because techically it's the same thing. It is like 12/100 x3 and 3/100 x12. You just do 12 x 3 or 3 x 12, and then shift the decimal point.
