Alex, I do sleight-of-hand and I like the way that you showed how to do the French drop it's a different variation from what I learned. The most important thing about doing this trick I've always believed it's just a relax and go with the flow. Always bring your hand down by your side as if it was a natural posture and I like your little effective rubbing the hand together to showing that it disappeared. I'm going to practice that style. My name is Glenn and I hope to hear from you soon

It’s just a foundational trick you can build off. Coin magic imo works best as a series of vanishes that play off one another. If you watch most coin magicians they have a sequence and your mind never gets to linger on any one thing before their patter and hand motions move your attention to something else.
@TheNightstalker80
@TheNightstalker80 4 жыл бұрын
That's exactly what happens to me all the time when I try some tricks with my son or wife, they almost always know how it works. I'm of course no great magican and if it's done good and quick your mind will be tricked for at least a moment but yeah, after that you should have get rid of the coin or proceed to another trick. I had this problem with many other tricks that build around things that should go away at a certain point. I think the real problem really is to literally get stuff to vanish ;-) Like the little piece of rope you end up holding when you do the rope healing trick ... my son got me at the 2nd time, he knew I was hiding something in my hand right after I pulled the rope though and I had no chance to get rid of it so fast without beeing obvious. I never had issues with other tricks where nothing has to go away, this is much easier for me to do. Maybe it's situational because 1 on 1 always seems to be harder...?

What do you do with the coin after it's in your left hand? Every single person you do that trick for is going to ask to see what's in your other hand.
@timmynoya
@timmynoya 4 жыл бұрын
TheTruthHurts732 The real trick is actually “how to draw your target’s attention away from your left hand”. And fyi, it is a real trick. No magician ever did this: “Look! I’m gonna make this coin disappear from my right hand! Look here!” No, mate. They make a story and the vanish coin itself is a part of the story. The trick didn’t stand alone. Never did a trick stand alone.
