Victory rolls, the queen of vintage hairstyling. This hairstyle was popular in the 40s and originally served to show support to soldiers in WWII, but nowadays it has become the go-to look for everyone wishing to recreate the vintage pin-up style. In this video I'm going to show you how to create victory rolls on your own hair. Enjoy and good luck!

This may seem silly, but, I appreciate seeing the vintage pinup hairstyle on brown hair like my own. I do think the red head color is pretty and classic but just nice and refreshing to see this so I can better see myself in it.

Love this! I'm seriously considering trying this out for my wedding hairdo, but my hair curls at the slightest bit of moisture, so it'll be a challenge to stop it from getting frizzy ^_^ Great tutorial!

Bless you! I think I can actually pull off this way of making victory rolls. It seems like most other tutorials I watched so far (hardly any of which have your kind of production quality, btw) tell me to start rolling up from the tips and keep my hair pulled straight at all times - my arms are definitely not long enough for that! Will try your method asap.

I love this type of hair style! Question, once you've done a tutorial and finished recording and everything do you ever go out and wear your cool hair-dos out or do you just wash/brush your hair out straight away?! :-)

I would! If its a weekend I'll wear my hair the way I want to. Nobody's paying my bills they don't get to say how I should look. Even if they were they still don't get to say! lol. Ask them if they own a mirror cause they might need to use one!

What type and texture of hair do you have? It is so very beautiful in all of your videos. I wish I could do these things to my hair, but it is so thin and fine and pin straight 😟
