Having done it many times, walking to the top of the mountain is for the young and fit only. The last section is very steep and if there is any rain on the granite it can be quite perilous for those who are unprepared for this.

I’ll always have a special place in my heart for Stone Mountain, Georgia. My aunt used to live in Stone Mountain way back in the day and we used to visit all the time in the early to mid 90s and alway had great times. She lives right off Brockett and Cooledge and I was driving by there the other day just reminiscing…they got rid of the old Waffle House across the street from her old complex smh. But, when I first moved to Georgia, initially I was in Stone Mountain and I noticed that every business in the area had “Congratulations Class of 2022” signs everywhere and I thought that was really nice. I’m back here now and I’m in a neighborhood where every mailbox has pink ribbons and people are wearing all pink for breast cancer awareness month and to see the civic care and unity here is always heartwarming. So many nice areas, neighborhoods and things to do in Stone Mountain. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice suburban location near Atlanta.

If I don't like country music I don't listen to it or go to the concert. So if you don't like Confederate memorials don't go visit them it's that simple. Leave it alone for those who enjoy it

I NEEDED TO SEE & HEAR THIS VIDEO AS WE ARE VISITING STONE MOUNTAIN TODAY, CURRENTLY IN ATL. WHILE VIDEO SHOTS WERE EXCELLENT, YOUR VOICEOVER WAS TERRIBLE. YOUR VOICE IS TOO SOFT/QUIET - SPEAK UP OR GET A BETTER MIC, COULDN'T HEAR EVEN WITH LAPTOP AT MAX VOLUME. THX
