One time, I was feeling myself that particular day, so I decided to wear my favorite pair of heels to school. I know it's a little much, but I'm just that extra. And Amber, let me tell you. I was feeling like a superstar! Amazing! FABULOUS! The world was my oyster! Then, as I was going into science class, a girl told me, "Are you okay? You look a little uncomfortable." I was MORTIFIED. Had I been walking funny? The thing is though, somebody had taken a video of my shoes and posted it on Instagram to find out where they were from, and I know it was me because it was a girl from school and the pants in the video were mine lol. I don't know why she didn't ask me, did she think I was going to bite her or something? Anyways, my walk looked fine. As it should, they had like zero heel (okay, they were 4.5 inches, but heavily platformed. That sounds ugly, but it was right for the shoe). Even so, I vowed never to wear that pair to school ever again. This second occasion, I was reluctant to wear heels to school because of incident #1. But I did so anyways, on these the heel was smaller. According to your guide, they should be easy to walk in. I, again, thought I was fine, but just before 6th period, a girl comes up to me, and she says, I AM NOT JOKING, "Are you okay? You're limping." WHEN I TELL YOU I WAS MORTIFIED, I MEAN IT. I rushed to my seat, hopefully sitting down for 45 minutes would help my walk. The girl who sits next to me says, "Hey, you okay? You're limping." AAUSHUSNSUWJSJIWMSJH. I just said "So I've been told" and sat down. Haven't worn heels to school since. Moral of the story, thanks for the tips. Apparently I desperately need them. Xoxo

Okay, just a side note on the size thing: if you wear a court shoe type of heel (as I do most of the time), do not pick a size to big. Since there is no strap to secure the shoe to your foot, unless you are ready to tape your underfoot to your shoe, a size too big will just make the show impossible to wear/walk in. If you wear them often, I found that buying them your size/half a size too small works best because, they sure hurt in the beginning but as the shoe get a little looser it'll end up fitting your feet perfectly after some time wearing them. My advice: wear them often for short periods of time in the beginning, and once they're better fitted to you, wear them as much as you'd like!
