In todays Video I demonstrate how to wash Nike F.U.S.E Football Jerseys. The same technique can be used for the Game FUSE Limited and FUSE Elite models. At the end I give specifics for each tier of jersey. I also include what to avoid during the jersey washing process.

Thanks for all the good advice on washing our Jersey's. I just washed 2 Jersey's, but i just did them on the lowest delicate cycle and hang dry. I followed the no softener and cold water. I may try hand wash next time, or pick up a garment bag for the delicate cycle.

Dry, clean and press every time you just have to be specific with what you want done with your jersey. It’s what they do. Thank you for offering alternates, I find using a soft toothbrush and non-scented foaming hand cleaner.

Thanks for watching. Same technique as the current limited in this video. Both use sublimated numbers so I would avoid the washer

Awesome content as always. Have you had any issues with the numbers and letters not put on the fuse elite jerseys correctly? I received two jersey and both are not aligned correctly

I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Dude I recieved jerseys with crooked numbers. Nike logos coming off. Snags. Grease from the sewing machines. And most recently the arsenal soccer jersey I ordered , came with a long hair underneath the whole name. The entire name was heat pressed over a hair and the hair was unremovable and hanging out!

thanks for this vid. just bought the vapor fuse jersey and felt deflated that numbers arent stitched. but as long as i hand wash and hang dry i hope those numbers last for $175. i guess youre saying even the stitched numbers on the elite can get wrecked so that makes me feel slightly better. have you had any bad experiences with the vapor silicone pressed numbers creasing?

Thanks for watching. On the elites the won't get wrecked but wrinkled. With the silicone numbers they can bubble or crease. I highly recommend hand washing them

Can you use any stain remover? I have what looks like an oil stain on mine and i usually use dawn dish soap to soak it up and then wash it with oxi clean powder. Is that safe?

@@SofiaRiccardi on the limited the dish soap should be fine. I'd hold off on the oxi clean powder as the ink comes out of the numbers easily. If you're in the States Walmart sells carbona stain remover for oil, try that to if the dish soap doesn't work. Always test the jersey first before using new products. What do you recommend if the water is really cold you hand wash it with all the necessary materials. And then the white lettering and numbers get a light tint of whatever the color jersey is? Do you recommend just keep repeat washing until the numbers and letters turn back white?

You can try that. Also try carbona color run remover. Sometimes rubbing alcohol works. TEST the jersey first before using any chemicals first to insure it's safe to use. Worst case you can always swap out the numbers

@@jersey_jaguar I appreciate it, I ended up getting some of that OxiClean Max Force that you describe in your videos. Braided on the letters and numbers got a soft toothbrush scrubbed it in and so far it's looking like it's starting to whiten up already so I'm just going to let it sit for a few days. Thanks for mentioning the OxiClean max force It seems like a lifesaver. I'm also going to buy those other little bottles you just mentioned waiting for payday and I would definitely be getting the whole set if I can. Lol... You can try it but pen is hard to get out. 99 % rubbing alcohol, acetone, or vlr have worked but it takes a few tries. Always test the jersey first before using any product

PLEASE READ!!!!!!!: FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE CARE LABEL!!!! DO NOT JUST TAKE A ONE PROCESS APPROACH!!!! Yes, I am yelling this as a collector of various teams, eras, colors, materials, etc. Its not the most exciting approach, but it is the advice of the manufacturer and the most effective long term. Different colors and materials behave differently at different temperatures. Every label is not the same, even for the same brand and type. I have seen many an expensive jersey ruined with bubbled numbers or color bleed, wearing down the stitching, etc. As usual be as gentle as possible, but if the label says tumble dry low, tumble dry low. Cold is NOT universal for every dye and solvent. That is a trap, especially for certain color combinations. That usually has to do with any adhesives or dye bleed. And especially the way some of these materials are manufactured to handle water, be careful with hand washing, just straight soaking and especially dry cleaning if it doesn't say to do those things. Of course people can do what they want, but that's just my advice. As with any clothing, gentle cycles are best if stains are minimal and spot clean before washing if the stains are tougher.
