I promise, this hack will change your life! If it takes you HOURS to wash & dry your hair, then watch this! In this video I show you guys how I wash my greasy hair in minutes rather than hours and WITHOUT using dry shampoo! It’s a great hair hack especially for when you’re in a rush and need to freshen up your greasy roots! I basically ONLY wash the top section of my head, leaving the rest untouched. After washing that top section of my hair, I use that clean part to cover and hide the rest of my dirty hair, and IT REALLY WORKS. It’s a great and healthier alternative to dry shampoo! try washing it 3 times a week, if it gets oily that quick, it’s best to wash it more often. (try using castor oil as well, it helps your hair getting a lot les greasy)

I have been doing this for years and it saves time for those of us with long hair. I have thick/curly long hair and straighten it. There is no way I'd wash and go through the whole routine every day.

I discovered this technique when I cut my bangs and had to wash them almost every day. At least every 36 hours because while I have a lot of hair, it is fine and tends to flatten on top, Touching my bangs or tucking the layers behind my ear all the time certainly doesn't help. I started with my bangs but as I was growing them, I started to go higher and get more hair to wash. Been doing this on days when I don't have time or feel like washing and drying/styling all my hair.

I have chronic illnesses/symptoms that make it really tough for me to shower. I'm lucky if i get to wash my hair once a week. I plan on trying this method over the weekend if my body still won't cooperate. Thank you! ❤

Tried this and it doesnt always work as planned. I have thick long hair like yours. Soap that you intend to use only in that top section doesnt just stay there. I had soap spill further and then trying to rinse with hair tied back was not happening. In the end I had to wash all of it to rinse all of it. So much for saving time. This may only work for people with thin and short hair.

I work overnight shifts and don't have access to a shower.. I have long hair and need to look presentable in the morning. That would not happen without this method
