Completely agree. One of the true few problem the Jurassic World era productions, movies and others, truly have, is the useless and ridicule high number amount of fan-service references toward the three original movies. Really, that have any reason to exist. Why making references in productions of the same franchise/series ?? When it is a tribute/reference in a franchise to another apart one, it's okay. But when in it's in a production of a franchise to another production of the exact same franchise, that is stupid. Except when it's a running gag, like the "I have a bad feeling" line from Star Wars, it's okay, here, all Jurassic Park's "tribute" in jurassic World productions are just the same things said made in the originals productions. And they in final are just here to be here, put and shown randomely whithout true reasons, just like that. Really, people aren't stupid. They know that the productions they watch are part of the same franchise and continuity of the original movies. There any reasons to put such things. And the tributes end up being discomfortable, kind of forced and boring most of the time. As well to put problems to the Canon lore, like the Barbasol can do, because for tons of reasons I explained in a huge awnser comment on the pinned comment of Swvre at the top of the comment section, Jurassic Park The Game is still in reality canon to the movie continuity. And the add of the Barbasol can in JWCC and JW Dominion, in which it have completely any reasons to exist, is just here to behere, just decoration, and have ZERO impact on the story, while officially crushed by the T-rex att he end of the game, reappear like if that was nothing, having surived by miracle to the T-rex feet !!!! If they have decide to stop this disguting too high fan-service, they would not have include it in these production and there would have been any problems. Especially since that was a inconsistency easily avoidable at the start. In comparason to Treworrow, Bayonna on Fallen Kingdom was respectuous of the established Lore, since the volvacno of Nublar is correctly refered as Mount Sibo as first named as such in Jurassic Park The game in 2011. Him, Bayonna, isn't dirty in that aspect.

@@warsthemarvel8608 But that mean that the Bad ending of Jurassic Park the Game, in which Nima die and the surviving protagonnist leave Isla Sorna sad, would be the definitive official ending of the game, to match the current lore, which is quite mixed as solution. And that would also mean that if it like that, the Barbasol can have ended as the Kirby Phone in JP3, in poops/dungs, since the T-rex ate the Barbasol can when eating Nima. But that woud explain for sure why the Barbasol is find in the middle random area of knowhere, in a path made under the second Park, extremely far from every Dilophosaurus enclosure or coast. Which indeed is an additionnal big incosistency that was thus however easily avoidable.

But that didn't anwser us on anything, because the concept and term of "Soft-Canon" in itself mean absolutely nothing. Either something is Canon, either it is Canon. Which made the producers even dumber and stupid, because why making a entire big special episode of a TV Show entirely 100% confirmed to be canon to the movie continuity if it's not to be canon ? Even a donkey wouldn't say such bullshit of nonsense. Because it entirely part of Camp Cretceaous TV Show, which himself is entirely Canon, the Hidden Adventure special is by default entirely Canon as well. There really cases where there even any questions to ask when things are very obvious.

Yeah, it's not because they are games that they must and deserved to be outside the canon of the movies. Treworrow, when asked about Jurassic Park: The Game, said that for him, he preferred, from his own pure personnal opinion, to see them as "Soft-Canon", their own things, and that games must be their own world, with the creators being not forced to follow rules to have more freedom on the artistic aspect. Which is fucking irrespectious and dumb from him toward the creators in reality. Tons of franchises have made games that entirely part of a Coninuity composed by comics, movies, TV shows etc... whithout problems. The support used, whatever video-game, movie, comics or Tv show, is just a way or another to give, show and tell a story, or part of a more bigger story that is the franchise itself overall. And even if creators must respect and forced to match with the established lore and avoid inconsistencies, the creative and artistic freedom is still always very high. It justly that what is creativity and imagination, to end up doing and giving something new and original despite some restrictions of some sorts. I litterally what every long series movies' sequels or prequels are, and many still very good and awesome despite that they were forced to respect the established lore put in the first movies. For example, the Prelogy Star Wars and the differents animated or live-action spin-off productions are and were all forced to respect the numerous stuff in the 4-5-6 original Star Wars movies, and yet have ended up extremely good and creatively high ! By doing what he did, Treworrow was an asholes, by not respecting the establsihed lore which was however pretty easy to respect and find easy and quick solutions to resolved the possible few small problems that the game could have give. And by not respected the work of the creators of the game themselves, which must have been hard. Cutting from the timeline a production is not only just unfunnily lazy as a sloth, but also irrespectuous toward the poeple that made the game in the first place. It's completely a middle finger in front of your face in this point. Also, Treworrow, in this social tweet/post/message, didn't actually awnser us about JP:TG by Telltale being no more canon, because, as said upper, he said that Soft-Canon (which is a term/concept that don't exist truly in reality, since either something is Canon, or either something is Not canon. Nothing more. So that wasn't a proper anwser on the game status), and what he said about this game and video-games as general was his own pure personnal opinion. Already not an ultimate uniersal truth and concensus, this view isn't shared by everyone. And as such, his comment must be not take as a taken evidence, but with high grains of salt. Also, Treworrow was only hired by Universal to made a Jurassic World movie in 2015, not put as the manager of the franchise as a whole, and haven't implications/involements in the production/creation of the game from 2011 by Telltale. As such, Treworrow have any rights or powers regarding the game and cannot do or made anything toward it. The entire rights of the game belong to Universal. If Treworrow was put as the maanger of the franchise as a whole, here it would have rights and powers to do whatever he want, but that wasn't never the case. So, by default, Jurassic Park The game is still Canon to the movies continuity, and what we have in JWCC with the barbasol can is abig yet extremely avoidable inconsitencies that put high confusion and lead to missinform the public toward the game and producution's true statues.

If the original novel and its sequel, the lost world, were adapted as they are, that will be not unlike the movies themselves, especially the Jurassic World ones. Lot of stuff that was not scientific in them, even for the time of their writting.

It does show up in Dominion, because Treworrow didn't care and take into account the official estalished lore from the games, for bullshit reasons, and decide to made another useless and stupid, forced fan-service by showing it thus it was destroyed att he end of the game from 2011. Treworrow never had any rights of powers to do whatsoever on themgame and against in in a way or another, because he didn't have any involement in it's creation, that the entire rights belong to Universal and was hired to made a movie, nut hired and put as the maanger of the franchise as a whole. @@dudotolivier6363 yeah agreed the locust plot was ok but the dinosaurs were grea. Therizinasaurus looks amazing. Final battle was good. All the characters were played beautifully especially Chris Pratts, Owen Grady and Sam Neil’s Alan grant was also good. Jeff Goldblum is great. Ramsay cole was a nice new edition to the characters. All in all a great conclusion to the Jurassic era.

Colin Treworrow himself said that he like to consider JP:TG as soft-canon, but as I said, this term mean nothing, because it have any sense, and he had and still have, in reality, any power or rights on the game canon status. Also, what he said was an opinion, not a true confirmation to begin with.

Know it, Swvre didn't actually see and analyze if its sources he see are fiable or even take effect. JP3, while not bad by any means, is still the lowest JP3 movie in every aspects, because it just the protagonnists escaping and being chased on Sorna by Spinosaurus and Velociraptors during all the movie and nothing esle. Every JW movies have all way greater and diverses plots, sub-plots, actions sequences, characters evolution, good dinosaurs (even if only approwimatively accurate by only few degrees of differences) and materials and CGI effects. As well that they all have numerous educative and serious messages and themes. While JP3 have any messages and themes.
