This is called bengali aatpoure saree draping style . This is actually the easiest and most comfortable way of wearing a saree . Aatpoure means asta prahar . Thats why women used to wear saree for the day long in this way to feel comfortable.

My grandmother does this with classic taant, which is actually a more rigid fabric and harder to handle than silk or chiffon...but she still does this with elegance and perfection.

Интересный способ наряжатся в сари, нам Лакшми показывала другой способ, я ее три раза просила показать как это делать, и столько же сама под ее чутким руководством делала, нашла по инету магазин Джаганат в Москве, ездила за подарком для дочери, купить удалось самое простое сари, хотела еще подруге купить, но ее любимого цвета не нашлось, фанатка она у меня по Индии, она и хинди учила по фильмам....
