What I was going to say! Maybe on those rare night when you are so tired that you sleep like a rock and don't move at all! I mean that happens to me sometimes. Most of the time I wake up with my hair loose and the bedding all twisted around me and half on the floor 🤣

Yessss 😂 the twist doesn’t stay twisted and I wake up a few hours after falling asleep with more than half of it out and matted hair 😂

i recommend a satin cap! I had the same problem and always woke up with crazy hair.

@@s.p5254 ugh, I feel weird and and don't care to do it most of the time, but the silk or satin cap or hair wrap towel cap really helps my hair be less frizzy and matted compared to bare hair styles. And helps hold my waves and curls. I have lots of hair. curly, wavy and dry. I just scrunch it up into the cap. I often need clips or loosely placed large ties/fabric headbands to hold it though.

It must be nice to be able to do that so easily with straight hair and not have the consequences of having your hair look ridiculous because it retained that style even if it is loose 😭. My hair down is the best way for me to guarantee my hair will retain the style from yesterday without a bunch of effort.

I'm the same way! Pineapple doesn't work super well because my hair isnt super heavy and retains the straight upwards shape

It doesn't matter how I style me hair before bed it's always a rats nest in the morning and there is no possible way to wear the style from the day before. I mean unless it's a messy bun that I turn into a slightly less messy bun🤣

Whenever I sleep in low loose styles like a low ponytail or braid, I end up sleeping on top of my hair and waking up with a bump on my hair from where I slept on it 😭

I do either a loose braid or a high -not so tight- bun with a scrunchie and honestly using scrunchies saved my life because they can keep my hair in hold without pulling it I think everyone with HAIR should own at least one scrunchie cuz it's gonna be your best friend for life

What I think is another good idea/alternative since this likely WILL be untwisted by the morning is simply just a *loose* braid that doesn’t pull on your hair.

Braids do help good though but i use hair caps to sleep with when my haur is in a style

I use a loose french braid. If u have a curl pattern from day fo day it looses them up. If your hair is straight I don't know what can happen (mine is wavy/curly but fine)

Loose braids work too. Also, use hair ties for children-they're designed to protect fragile hair.

Try this instead: Step 1: gather all your hair Step 2: make 2 sections Step 3: twist each section in the same direction Step 4: tie the 2 sections 2gether at the bottom Step 5: let go of your hair it should twist itself If I did not work you did it wrong

What about a super loose high bun? I hate my hair down when I’m sleeping so I put my hair in the loosest bun I can without it falling out. I also sleep on a silk pillowcase.

I’m wearing that style right now!! And I put a idk what it’s called in English but I put some cloth thing over my hair (it’s newly straightened today) and tied it to my hair so that all of it is covered!

Braid is great! I always did that in my primary school and my hair is super curly, then I changed my hairstyle into hair bun (after 3 years), my hair type automatically changed into the straight hair!:)

When you have curly hair, doing your hair in a pineapple is pretty comfy to me, better than what this video recommends. But different hair have different maintenance needs 🤷🏻‍♀️

Huh? I can’t sleep with my hair all over me. It needs to be put up in a bonnet or scarf. Sometimes even a shower cap when I can’t find the others 😬 gotta do what you gotta do

Other great options are silk bonnets or turbans. You can keep your hair loose so nothing will pull on it but it's protected by the bonnet/turban AND it stays out of your face lol

BONNETS. Seriously, I have waist length type 1C hair and at age 53, it's never looked so good as the last year when I've been wearing double layer satin bonnets to sleep. This and the coconut miracle oil - total gamechangers.

I do a loose french braid and put it in a silk bonnet. I started doing this cause I thrash around in my sleep and my hair would get tangled and frizzy. Now, I'm absolutely addicted to it and cannot sleep without a bonnet, it's amazing to have my hair off my neck and face. Highly recommend

What do you use to tie the end? I have super thin, super fine hair, and most bands slip off immediately. I know a rubber band would break my hair.

Or if you don't want Tingly hair just put a sock on your hair A frizzy sock and then make sure there's room and then boom no hair I mean well you have hair but like You won't have tingly hair so be very easy to brush in the morning

What I do is I make a high loose ponytail with a SCRUNCHIE then I do the twist and close the twist. Let me know if you like it. ( and please don’t take it a bad way what I said earlier) ❤️
