The Mount Vernon Clinic had its monthly meeting Monday evening February 19, 2024. The clinic started with a commemoration of Ted Becker's passing, a "Tool Time" session for participants to present a useful tool they have found to use in their modeling efforts, show tables for participants to show others the projects they are working on, and a track weathering lesson. There were several models on display. Tom Buckingham gave a presentation on how to weather your layout tracks, using a "show and tell" method to demonstrate how he lays his track, ballasts his track, and paints and weathers it. He also showed the audience all the adhesives and tools uses to lay and paint his track.
The Mount Vernon Clinic is sponsored by the 4th Division, of the Pacific Northwest Region, of the National Model Railroad Association. The meeting is held on the third Monday of the month at 7 PM at the Mount Vernon Senior Center, 1401 Cleveland Ave, Mount Vernon, Washington.
