Never let your brake foot leave when you’re on wheelie* Moving the left foot off to do foot drags is a good way to learn. Also on a smaller bike dragging your feet on a wheelie will help you learn

Instead of pushing down, if you have enough power you can just tap the front brake and give her gas to pop the front wheel

The only time you should ever compress your front suspension is if you have a small bike with not enough power. Lean back and give it some pepper! Its all just muscle memory and feel. Also kids.. quit riding in the streets, that craps weak. And gen z quit lifting just the front of your trucks for fcks sake. Shits wack af

I'm only 5'2 trying to learn on a EXC 450 and 500 lol I'm not scared of falling (i have plenty of times) i just don't want to bust up either of my bikes. They can be expensive to fix, if you're a billionaire motor bikes can make you a millionaire.

Just make sure that your motorcycle has the correct lubrication system. If it is dry swamp you might have an issue if you wheelie for longer distances.

With no clutch you just need more suspension compression and harder throttle hit. Just start small. Do it over and over to figure out how to get the front end up. Start small and go bigger and bigger. Hundreds of times. If you don't put the work it will never happen

For sure! The less power the bike has the harder you need to pull and lean back. The 100 is a great bike to learn on. Just start with a few inches then pull harder and pop clutch harder untill the front tire gets higher.

Definitely! It's light and you can touch the ground but it still has full size wheels so it helps you learn better. It's the best bike to learn wheelies on! That and a kx 100 2 stroke

@@utmx which size KLX140 for a guy your size? I’m 5’9” and believe there are 3 sizes the KLX comes in. Standard R with 14 inch rear tire, the RL with 16 inch, and RF full with 18 inch. Been riding my whole life street and dirt but need the best dirt bike to learn to wheelie.

@Johnny Wishbone I like the 18 inch rear wheel. The largest 140 they make! Still small frame and easy to touch but helps you prepare for the full size bike better than a small bike

Doesn't take much. You can also just compress the suspension slightly. As if doing a bunny hop. Just slightly as you blip the throttle and pop clutch. It all needs to be smooth. Start small and do bigger each time. Make thing is make covering and pushing the back break muscle memory and that way you won't loop out

Bro why would you tell people to compress suspension when you don’t need to at all literally learn back brake and how to pop clutch and than speed/balance im still learning but am very nice can one foot drag for avenue’s not blocks lol but I never compress that would only add a Unnecessary step

@@Yz_Jax no, just apply enough throttle to lift bike to balance point or even before balance point but when you Pop the clutch you can either use the break to sit back down once it come up and keep doing that or when you pop the clutch try to ride it out a little then use break to sit back down

Here mate I’ll help. Never let you’re feet leave the bike!!! And buddy never ever ever ever stop the bike and pop the clutch dude. That’s dangerous try that in 2nd what you need to do is go 2nd gear Speed and dump it

Haha dangerous? How so? Not if you practice. Jarvis pops it up from a dead stop all day long. Teaches you a lot of usefull skills. Helps to be able to turn around in tight areas and get great clutch control

@@utmxyou should control the descent of the bike. May not have happened yet doesn’t mean you wont. Bieks that wheelie poorly need fork seals done more often
