I cannot believe it took me almost a YEAR to make this video and then my battery starts dying... wth! lol
Anyways, I hope this video can help some of you out there learning how to wheelie your motorcycle, most specifically your supermoto! Thanks a ton for watching and we'll see you on the next one! =)

Nice video, I just subscribed. I recently picked up a KLX 300! I been doing some mods but I hate the big bulky mirrors that it comes with stock so I was curious where you got the small one on your bike? Thanks!

Not sure which ones salt uses but I went with $15 Amazon bar end mirrors. Take out the little bar end part and they clamp right on the bars if they 7/8

I did a three day wheelie school with two different, well-established stunt coaches, it was fun and everything... but I just can't take myself to practice wheelies on my 13K USD Supermoto. :D

Nice video. I have a KLX300 dual sport and have replaced the front and rear sprocket with 13/42. How do you think that would change the speeds/technique to do wheelies? I used to be pretty good at them when I was younger but didn't ride for about 30 years and getting back into as an old guy. Part of my problem is that I'm not as fearless as I used to be. Maybe just need to practice it more but can't seem to quite get the front wheel all the way up.

yours should come up with ease in 2nd gear with that gearing

I got same gearing on the 300sm 13/42. It powers up in 1st, and clutch up easy in 2nd and 3rd. My issue at the start was not giving it enough throttle. More throttle it will come up with that gearing easy. Just keep that foot on the brake.

I just geared mine to 13/42 it comes right up now. Runs at 6500rpm at 55mph though. Any redfish videos soon? You should do some shark fishing!

Nice! I thought about doing lower gearing also but I do ride it to work quite a bit and don't want it buzzing the whole time haha And we are currently awaiting Hurricane Ian to pass us, hoping for the best and to be back on the water here soon! We did just catch a huge snook and a 3-4' shark just 2 weeks ago!

Hey I’ve been loving my bike. Still have my trouble wheeling. Did you change any of the sprockets? What kind did you have? If you changed sprockets did it slow down your highway speed?

I went up 2 teeth in the rear and it helped quite a bit, top speed didn’t suffer much at all

thanks for the tips. been tryna get klx 300sm up in second gear and struggling. i can get it up in 1st no problem. but in second guess i needa give it a bit more pull on the bars and maybe more throttle

@@THE1BMANY practice practice practice. I lift up in 3rd now. Only thing not stock is bars ( I bent the stock ones) same curve bar tho, shifter linkage (bc I broke the og) and I even got the stock clutch lever on rn.
