I've got a roper brand refrigerator. I just want to see what terminals from ADC board to see if its transferring voltage to cold control and to the heaters. just a basic troubleshooting problem. there's terminal 1,3,2, and 4.

Any spaz can replace this part. How do you test it? It's not cheap and I already have a pile of parts that didn't fix the problem on a couple dozen other fixes.

how do you test timer board?? to determine if its bad? what pins should have voltage?

There are two simple tests you can do to see if the ADC board or the temp control switch is defective. All you need is a jumper wire about 4" long with male spade connectors crimped on. Unplug refrigerator from the power source. First test; pull the two connectors from the switch. Jumper across those two wire connectors by passing the switch. Plug in power. If refrigerator starts to run, the temp control switch is defective. If no start; test two. Unplug power. Turn switch to off position. Reconnect switch wires. Unplug 4 blade connector from the ADC board. Jumper terminals black to orange on the harness connector. Plug in the power to the refrigerator. Rotate switch to on. If refrig starts and runs, the ADC board is the problem.
