Is there any way to adjust these to allow the machine to add more water? The older models had an adjustable screw.

Would this be a potential solution for soaked clothes at the end of the cycle. Drain lines have all been checked/replaced from drum to main stack, shock absorbers seem good, drum motor seems to spin fast, drum belt is new, drain pump seems ok (no wear inside and sounds like it’s running), and drain line is vented. I don’t what else to check or change!

If the drain hoses and the drain pump are clear, then you will need to check to make sure the unit is level. Also, make sure the unit is not being overloaded and you are moving the correct load size selections. You can refer to your use and care manual for specific instructions for your model. The way you removed it at 1:40 is overkill. Just rotate it 90 degrees and it slides out. It will slide back in the same way.

is there a way to adjust the water level on my duet Whirlpool/KitchenAid/Maytag Water Level Pressure Switch WPW10448876 . if so can you recommend an adjustable switch for this machine. My wife hates the low water level even tho its designed like that.

Likely the level is low because mfrs are required to have lower water consumption. Like new terlets that flush poorly when #2 is in the bowl with TP and need a second flush to clear the BOWL and the line. So if old terlet was a 3 gal/flush and the new one is 1.6gal/ flush more water is used to keep the fixture clear. EPA and other regulating bodies try hard to make your life harder than before.

This is ok for latest models but for classic Maytag circa mid 1990s little of this process matches older models. If new models require a switch replacement like this, the quality of Maytag/Whirlpool products is sadly causing imports to take over.
