Paradox Vol 2 140 Techno Serum Presets Out Tomorrow
www.evosounds.com
In this tutorial, we will be going over how to create wide baselines like ARTBAT without ruining your phase integrity. By utilizing Serum with analog techniques we can create proper widebasslines that sound just as good as ARTBAT. When making wide baselines I love to use SPAN to also help with separated of the wide low-end to provide a mono sub direct out through Serum.

How to come up with the "theme" for a track, how to make elements talk to eachother, syncopation, how to get the right amount of melody, perc hits, synth shots, earcandy, arps. Speaking space 92 / Umek style here. This all is the same topic imo. Like the mindset how to go on about making a peak time techno track and balancing all those things so it doesnt sound empty or cluttered. No need to talk about drums or bass.

There's always warmth missing from digital synths. What do you think is the best method for warming them up. I hear deadau5 uses a really nice outboard distressor. Any suggestions for doing that inside the box?

and make sure to avoid Seurm, it's a really plastic sounding vst in my opinion, but actually really stable for basslines and low end. I usually do my low end with Serum and use Diva by U-he for the layer

I beg your pardon master of Ninjas @zen world but I am having one doubt, maybe I missed on something in your Master serum series. So, my doubt is, "If Direct Out is selected in Sub-Oscillator, and you have also routed it through Filter section along with other oscillators, is It gonna go direct out irrespective of Filter or it is gonna go through filter irrespective of Direct out or there is some sharing going on between Direct out and the filter routing this way ?" I know I should ask Steve Duda, but hey, you are the master, (Oh hey Metallica, master of puppets found :P )

Try compressing, thats what a compressor does. But dont over do it, imo this should be a dynamic bass.
@redjammie8342
@redjammie8342 3 жыл бұрын
@@darzebmusic1984 Not really. Because a compressor would also compress the movement made by the filter cutoff envelop.
