For the first tip: Using the L-Y for L-A-Y will get you 12 points. But if you had used the same L-Y for EQUALLY you could have gotten a TRIPLE Letter Y for 27 points! Sometimes a triple letter is worth more than a double-word!

I play alone. I try to beat own my high score and use only one rack. I apply modified tournament for solo. ( Time limit is 50 minutes.(Excluding recording time. Only includes thinking and placing time.) Three consecutive zero scoring turn ends game immediately. All words should be valid. Unplayed tile penalty subtracts all tiles not played including tiles in the bag.) Any thoughts?

Most of the time whenever I get one of the Blank Tiles I would make them into the following 4 Letters. 1: Z 2: K 3: Y 4: U

As far as I remember, depending on where you place your Tiles, some of these Words have the potential to get you a lot of Points. I made the word liars going verticle. I then wanted to us the S in liars, to make in vertical format. So it looks like slothsrail. Do the words all ha e to go the same direction?

Yes, all the words need to go in the same direction (starting from top to bottom) in the vertical format

Yes, as long as the letters that you place on the board go in one line - either horizontally or vertically.

@@josephinealegado2222 Honestly, it seems too basic even then. This is more like a poor explanation of the rules of scrabble. Better tips would mention blocking, bingos and the leave on your rack. These won't help people score points.
