I think you have to base it on your opponents ranges, not just their opening sizes.

@@johnnytwotimes7854 I think the argument is when they are playing a 7x size with say, 30% of hands from the CO or whatever. If they are playing a huge size with a strong range it becomes really easy to play against.

@@chuck55545 Yeah in that case I would just play a traditional gto range, you wouldn't want to play tighter because you should have an edge post flop as well. If anything you could play slightly looser pre if they are splashy

@@johnnytwotimes7854 “traditional GTO range” is assuming standard open sizes. A GTO range vs 7x would be much, much tighter than vs 3x

Low stakes you just gotta play really tight pre flop and honestly unless you notice a good player at the table you can just play so straightforward most of them won’t fold or will overplay their hands. Just sit and wait for you chance.

With K10 as played (if the turn is checked) you either need to check behind or Bet LARGE and turn the hand into a bluff. When your opponent checks to you in this spot with after betting the turn they don't have a jack or a flush and it can be easy to bluff some opponents off of two pair holdings. In this case against this opponent I think the large bet to bluff is the best line as your opponent has more combos in his range that beat you at showdown. Edit: I wouldn't go for the check on the turn however, I would go for a raise and check the river behind when the queen comes down. My range is crushing his as he has many draws that haven't gotten there and many Ax hands that I'm ahead of that will call a raise such as AQ and AJ.

When I see someone limp call, or flat call a raise I pretty much put them on a range of *exactly* QJ off. Obviously not that they only have QJ off, but QJ off is exactly in the middle of their limp/call or flat call range. They can have K10 off they can have A9, but QJ is exactly the type of “good enough to call, but is never raising” type hand.

Except that those holdings reduce the Ax two-pair holdings that villain can show up with to pay you off. Probably bet AK (for less than $180 though) and _maaayyybe_ AQ, and check back AT.

@@justinhart7172 limping aces only works when you limp most of your range at active table. If i see someone raise or fold for two hours and then limps bells are going off.

Yes I play them all 30+ hours a week. I've played all over the country and philly action is fantastic. Rivers is my "home casino" but I enjoy live and parx also.
