Just played this mini-game, and thought it was a lot of fun. Definitely want to try it IRL with some friends.

Game is completely rigged on hard difficulty. I played 20 games, 10 as white and 10 as black and at least 90% of the time I had a piece in range of theirs to capture they got the exact right roll to capture. Not only that, only once did I get the right roll in return to capture it back, but guess what, they immediately rolled to take it back again. Which is fine, it's something that could be played around if the game rigged it on their rolls, but on top of that it keeps giving you forcing you to isolate your pieces in return. You roll small at the start so your pieces are protected? Guess what, your 1-3 roll is going to be repeated.

I don't know it's my version bugged or other reason, the AI cheats every time by dice the exact number required to capture mine most of the time. This game is definitely not random, I can't win a single round on easy. It feels like the dice game in witcher 1 or XCOM percentage bullshit, which is rigged with odd heavily against the player. This could have been an interesting game if they make it truly random.
