One time I was counting change to put into my gas tank when I looked down and found a $20 bill in a gutter. Took it inside and I put $15 in my gas tank and bought a $5 scratch ticket, and won $300!!! Was able to pay bills that were late and smashed a delicious pancheros steak burrito 🙏

I’ve been buying tickets for a while and I’ve spoken with employees of the lottery and I know it’s strictly good luck or bad luck. If the odds are 1in 3.12 for instance it doesn’t mean if you buy three tickets you’ll have one winner. Those odds are for the overall total tickets printed for any given game. You can get eight losers in a row and then a winner on four of the next six. Pure random luck. The lottery would NEVER allow any theories to work. The integrity of the lottery would get destroyed.

I agree with dawtrs4. I've heard the same about the odds. I have bought several loosers in a row lately also. My personal best was 10 consecutive in a row with no winner. I've also had several 5 consecutive tickets with Same results. I expect to loose hope to win. I started to go down to 2 of ea kind or 1 of ea. I'm not lucky, so greatful to be able to watch instead of play. I am genuinely happy and excited for the winners on these channels. Alot funner.

Yep. It's probably more like a control group of a 1000 tickets or something like that, and they average the number of wins. Technically you could lose 50 in a row.

No I don't think losing 50 in a row is possible on one pack. I believe each has a set amount of minimum prizes so you are guaranteed to win something even if you may lose money overall. He did a video on this.

One time, I was in Yellowknife in Northern Canada for holiday. I walked to a nearby Shell that’s beside Super 8 and bought a a full book of 20 $5 Monopoly 50x scratch off tickets that was $100 in total and won $645 from it.

I always ask the clerks if a big winner was sold on a particular pack. Some will tell you , some won't. Believe it or not, I also take a quick glance in the trash for losing tickets. If I see a bunch of consecutive losses on $20 or greater tickets, I'll get the next one

In my state, a book/pack can go long stretches without a winner but then winners can come 2, 3, 4,5,6 in a row.

I have won on 3 out of 5 and lost on 10 in a row won $1000 on a ticket a customer changed their mind on and didn't buy so gut feelings works best. I always pick up tickets laying on the ground also found some tickets laying beside the road picked them up and a $50.00 bill was folded in them.

I buy 5 $2 tickets ($10) of the same ticket, about 3-5 times a day from different places, sometimes I break even or win more, never really lost, once I got $20 of losing tickets in a row but I quickly recovered buying more, I drive Uber around and every time during the day I stop at different places so I never buy from same store. Although my wins have been ok, nothing over $40 at the end of the day (after buying all tickets so if I spent $50 in tickets I pretty much won $60-$90 during the day), I pretty much pay gasoline with that , hoping that I some day pick up a big winner ticket or win big money in 2nd chance

You will! Keep having fun. Switch up a little. I won $276 between yesterday and this morn! Spent about $12 on those! $2 Break the bank was $200 win! Won $50 on new, black $5 colorful one today! Played Texas 2 step, Mega with extra. Also paid cell, auto insurance from winners! STAY positive and appreciate that you can play all day! I stick with SAME rolls often! Although I play at different spots too.

The odds are based on buying a book. If you buy a book of 30 tickets and they are 1 in 3.00 you’ll get around 10 winners or maybe a little less of you get a banger…. Or it could be a really good book and you get around 12 or 13 including a banger. It’s really hard to tell, but never expect a winner every 3 to 4 tickets because that’ll never happen. I’ve already scratched 7 tickets at $30 a piece and didn’t win and the 8th ticket was a $30 winner…..so who knows where the $100 winner of that book was. Good-luck all, I hope you find them winners!!

Hello from the Borough of Brooklyn.!! 😄 I literally just purchased the balance of a $1 scratch off from its case ($49 worth). As I was looking through them for this white line, I noticed that they were after every 10th card. Let's debunk that theory. From the videos I've seen recently, most mention this theory. I like to buy lower number tickets. However once in awhile a ticket will just catch my eye. Often it's a ticket I never buy. But I always follow my intuition and it's a winner every time.

I buy tickets with the highest odds of winning, if a top prize ticket hasn't been won in my city. I also sometimes ask the clerk which of those someone has won $100 or more on a roll and if they have, I won't buy that one either . And the odds can be 1 in 4.00 but that doesn't mean that if you buy 4 consecutive tickets, 1 will be a winner. Lol (As has been previously stated in the comments. ), you may buy tickets 1-12 and ticket 13 , 22-25 are winners .

In Delaware I have never won 2 in a row, however, in Maryland I have lost 10 in a row n won several in a row. The Lottery Retailer said the odds of winning are based on the entire packet, not 1 out of # in a row...just sayin'

I have read alot of these comments and I have played tickets for over 30 years . I think you can increase the odds a little but I still think its 90 percent luck . I believe the area has a big factor also . Good luck to you

Many gamblers don't understand they will always need luck to win. If there were a method aside from a mathematical advantage lotteries could not be as rich as they currently are!! THATS NOT ENTIRELY TRUE I GOT A $30 TICKETS AND THE ODDS ARE LIKE 1 IN 4 OR5 TICKETS, BUT I GOT SIX OF THEM AND I LOST ON ALL SIX; THE WINNER WAS ON THE 7TH TICKET. THE PRIZE WAS ONLY $100 THAT WAS PITIFUL

Lost on 5 $50 tickets (Premier Play) in a row (001-005). 006 was a $50 winner 007 was the $500 winner. Next day went to a different store and bought 1 $50 Premier Play. Won $500 again (ticket 015)

I remember once scratching an entire roll of $1 tickets. I think that I invested about $100. I broke even. There were a few $20 wins along the way. In the beginning I started with about $10 or $20 and somehow worked my way through the whole roll. They sold tickets at the bar I was in. I was drinking Shirley Temples. I just went to enjoy the company and music. I didn't have the intention to scratch the whole thing it just got good and people started watching and cheering me on. The big winner wasn't on that roll. There was a lot of small wins. (Under $5)

@@FixinToScratch When you know how the tics are hitting it makes picking easier ! The new tics are the hardest unless you can watch scratchers like yourself scratch for you ! That makes my picking alot less costly ! Thanks so much for what you do ! I enjoy watching your channel and have for the past 3 years !

Also look for a white stripe across the top or bottom of ticket, hopefully it'll be in the middle LoL. Because that tells you also there is a winning ticket!!! It could be the 1 that has the white stripe on it or could be the ticket in front of or either the bottom ticket. It is a Forsure Winner with a White Stripe on it Garranteed Theresa J from Valley Station Whoa Who!!!

Yes I just realized that on certain tickets in South Carolina so when I buy them I always look for the deep white line

there is a white line on every so many tickets if you buy 10 or more you will notice the pattern I believe it is every 4 or 5 has the white line across

I always play the odds. Of course I only buy four, five dollar tickets. But I only ever lose 15 dollars. 😄

That wasn't too bad of a turn out. I do a similar method as this one but I do the numbers in my head before buying. Like, assuming the very first ticket in a book is a winner, you would take the odds of that ticket 1 in 3.25 or whatever and buy ticket numbers 4, 5, 8, 9, 12, 13 and so on. If that doesn't work then it's a sign the first ticket was a loser. So I go back one number and I get 3, 4, 7, 8, 11, 12.. so on. This is also assuming the book starts at 001. If it starts at 000 then I'll go up a number not back. 😎👍

In Florida tickets say 1 in 4, but on the website it says 1 in 12.

My theory is when you play out of your routine Matt . Have Mrs. Fixin pick a bin # just for fun . I usually get a few tickets and take them home to scratch them .

Don’t odds change though throughout the course of a tickets life? Couldn’t the wins be more frontloaded during printing, so then the odds go up later in its life?

Overall odds do not change. However, odds for certain prizes can based on ticket left.

I won a full pack of $20 tickets from a ticket I bought off a friend to support their kids t ball team. I went 12 tickets before hitting on one at one point. That's when I realized why I never (ok hardly) win and win with a profit of how much I spent to win that much.
