Just used your video to help my wife and I winterize our new 2024 Ontour 2.2 ahead of a sudden cold snap. Super helpful and confidence inspiring to new RV owners like ourselves. We had the whole thing done in less than an hour. Thank you so much!

This was very helpful. I hope you’ll also do a video on how to get your water system ready for spring. Thanks.

Yes, that's the plan. Look out for a summarizing video in the near future.

Thank you, I’m attempting this today, and although I’ve read the manual several times, this video helps immensely. Thank you again. I appreciate this visual a lot.

New owners. Got our Lexor in June. We followed this video to a “t” this morning leaving Florida to return to Illinois. Incredibly helpful . Everything was exactly as described on your video. Look forward to a de-winterizing video from PW soon. Thank you!

I wish there was a video for my model, a 2017 Lexor TS Promaster. My brain has aged over the passed five years.

Indeed helpful. How about a short bit on winter care of the lithium batteries when days over 32F are rare (as in MT). Thanks

Thanik you. I just wish you released this before I bought my 2020 Pleasure-way Lexor FL. I've been following the manual to a "T", but this video covers details not there.

Can you put this on your web site? Would be nice to be able to download it locally. KZfaq requires a paid subscription for that "feature". Having on my laptop when I have no internet and want to confirm the process while I am doing it would be beneficial. Thanks.

I used to winterize all my RV's so far by blowing out the water with a compressor. Never had a problem with that. Does anybody have some experience/recommendations with that method on a pleasure-way?

This video is super helpful! We just bought a used 2016 Pleasure Way Ascent TS. It has a Girard hot water on demand tank. Since I can't drain it like you did in this video, should I forget about the by-pass and simply run some antifreeze in the hot water tank?

I honestly think Pleasure Way makes some really nice campers, but why do you use wood screws driven into a wood panel for something that has to be opened at least twice a year? In Canada where they are made likely more frequently. Wouldn't some latching system ensure more longevity? There are many Pleasure Ways older than 3 decades still on the road. After 30years those screws and their backside will be totally worn out. On a $170k+ vehicle there surely must be a better solution?

Great video. Suggest once slight change. It is the Ethylene Glycol based anti freeze ( used in most radiators ) that should not be used. This is Toxic. The Propylene Glycol as recommended obviously is not. Ethanol, is the alcohol some of us enjoy (in beer, wine and hard liquor ). Or are there companies selling denatured ethanol as anti-freeze?
@pleasureway2 жыл бұрын
Hi Greg, you are 100% correct that 'ethylene' based antifreeze should not be used as it is toxic. And yes, there are many RV antifreeze products that are predominantly 'ethanol' based (these are usually the cheapest option and often advertised as "econo"). Propylene glycol or at least a glycol blend is recommended as this type of antifreeze does not deteriorate rubber seals (as well as being non-toxic and safe for all RV plumbing). Ethanol antifreeze can accelerate the deterioration of cone seals in fresh water lines, blade seal in toilet and gate valve seals.
