Yep ,yep , 👍👍 very good discription an example on how to . With the meter reads along side . This should help most people who didn't understand resting impedance load, parallel parallel, an series parallel. Also know that different manufacturers coils àre off just a little bit. A few tenths on the resting load . Peice an bass on bro!!

Have 3 18’s dual 2’s, wired too 1.33. Sweet vid for anyone that doesn’t understand ohm’s law🤙 🔥 content . Also if you touch your leads together it will show you your resistance, then you just subtract whatever your resistance is on your leads, example you were reading .7 assuming your resistance is .3, boom =.67, I know you know that just spreading the info to anyone that wants to know.

You know the best thing about running at 1.33 ? Larger amplifier without worrying about blowing your subs because you have head room

You should have shown an electrical diagram of the various options so people can visually see how the math works when working with series parallel networks and impedance matching. When I watch videos of diy speaker builds, very few take the time to properly show an electrical circuit of what they are building. Most diy speaker build videos are hobbyists who are simply winging it. Building proper speakers is more than just hooking up a bunch of speakers together.

I used to run three subs speakers on a two-channel amp. I would run two 4 ohm speakers in stereo (left and right) and then bridge a 8 ohm sub in between the 2 channels. I thought that would give me all 4 ohm.??? I had three 12s in a box together in the middle sub was 8 ohm and the sides were four.

so for 3 DVC 4 ohm subs that claim to be 750 rms you either need a STOUT amp for 2.6 ohm... orrr a STOUT amp to handle lower than 1 ohm....?

Why not get 2-2ohm subs wired in series raising each to 4ohms then parallel them bring it back to 2ohms, then have 1- 4ohm wired in parallel bring it down to 2ohm and then parallel all 3 to the amp which should give you 1 ohm stable at the amp? Is that possible?

Is it possible to wire 2. 2 0hm and 1. 4 ohm subwoofers together if so what would be the ending impedance. Also vice versa 2. 4 ohm subs and 1. 2 ohm subwoofer. If possible what would be the final impedance.

What if I have 2 4 ohm and 1 2 ohm? Would it make a difference if I wire them parallel? All 3 same brand and 900 watt rms

dont wire all 3 of those up with non matching ohms. i wouldnt do 2 4ohm subs and 1 2ohm see if you can get another 4ohm

Won't that burn up the amp? I'm assuming you have a 1 ohm amp. If not, what if you did have a 1 ohm amp? I do and currently have 2 4ohm subs and wanted to by a triple 12 box and buy another 4ohm sub. I have a 1 ohm 1 channel amp

well my amp is 1ohm stable but it also is 0.5 ohm stable so as long as i dont wire it below .5 im good i have these 3 dual 4's wired to 0.67 so its in the sweet spot for me. your wire options for 3 dual 4's like i explained in the vid are .67 or 2.67 so if you go 3 you can wire to 2.67 just make sure your putting out enough power at 2ohms

better get a good amp that is 0.5 ohms stable so if you wire it to .67 it will be ok

@@jpsaudio08 A good 1ohm stable amp will have no problem with .67 load because when its playing music it will have box rise and be as high as 8 ohms. It would almost never be at .67 on music

Ive got 2 d2 10s and 1 d4 10. What would happen I wired the 2 d2s series parallel to 2ohm and the d4 to 2ohm, and ran the 2s to one terminal and the 4 to the other?

I have a prefab 3 12 box from skar audio when I do this I only get 2.6 ohms I have the rp1200 which is one ohm stable I have contacted them they told me to do the same thing I've done but I never get 1.33 ohms. The box has 3 positive and negative cups on the back

Well you'll only get 1.33 ohms if you have dual 2ohm subs. .67 and 2.67 are your options for dual 4ohm subs which is what I have here.

That's exactly what I'm getting ready to do. I have skar skv2 1500.1 amp but I though .67.ohms would burn up the amp and 2.68 ohms wouldn't use all the power the speakers need to bump hard. It'll divide the 1500 by 2.67
