I have 4 american bass 15s the amp is 1 ohm stable and has 2 sets of speaker inputs but its a 1 channel mono. Is is possible if i wire 2 subs in parallel and connect it to 1 of the speaker connections? That would be a 1 ohm load.and do the same thing with the other 2 subs, would the ohms drop more than 1 since the 4 subs will be in parallel.you can do 2 4 ohm subs in parallel and be at 1 ohm but how about 4? Ok so there alot in ur question here. The simple way to understand is that for every 2 coils joined togther u can ONLY EVER double (series) or divide in half (parallel). So, 2 subs that are dual 4, = 4-4ohm coils. Which has an ending ohm option of 4ohm, 1ohm. Now as far as the 2 ch (mono) amp.if you place a 2ohm load on the left ch and a 2ohm load on the right side. The amp is going to bridge those channels internally, so yes, its actaully a 1 ohm set up. If u lay 1 ohm on lect amd 1 ohm on right, that will be a .5 ohm load.

@@myonlinecarguy1 ok so the amp is a hifonics be35 4000.1D class d 1 channel with 2 sets of speaker conections. So most likely its gonna end up at a .5 ohm load????

If you place a 1ohm load on each "ch" and its a mono amp, yes.

What about if you had two dvc 2 ohm subs and two dvc 4 ohm subs could you still wire them together

How bout that same configuration but w 2 amps strapped but w possible 1 ohm load w all 4 dvc 4ohm subs please,...im at a stand still w my daily project

So, ohms law will ALWAYS remain true. Regardless of the amps stability. That said. If your amps strapped is stable at 1, and thos video showed how to get to 1 ohm, your good to go. (Sorry i cant which vid this message came from) . But 1ohm is 1ohm . Long as you aml set up is stable at that, your good to go..
