I demonstrate how I hooked up the switch panel to run my engine test stand, while also explaining how you could simply wire this into a car application.

Which wires go to R and S terminals on the starter? Where does the ignition lead from the distrubtor get hooked up to? Thanks

What steering column do you use with this? I need one that has a shifter on it but doesn’t have a lock mechanism if you don’t have a key. This why I’m wiring a starter panel

I would suggest two things, either keeping the key in, or take apart the steering colum and remove the locking pin and putting it back together, I will be here if you have any questions, and you most likely won’t find any steering colum of your car that doesn’t have a locking pin in the colum

hey man, i used one similar it was jtron with a single switch. it will crank and crack but no start, i don’t have any spark. is there something i’m supposed to do to the dme since it can’t scan a key

Is the extra switch for the coil redundant? Can't it just come off the initial toggle

Yes, it is redundant and not necessary for a normal automotive installation of this panel.

Anyone know what would cause my starter to stick and continuously keep cracking even once the truck has started after pushing the start bottom???

Maybe your button is one that has two modes, on and off, like a light switch, and not one that just engages when being pushed? (sounds like its feeding electricity through it even after you release your finger so that its on "on mode", try another switch, one that engages only when pushed)

I know this was a while ago but I have a question I know the toggle switch has a led on it but dose the push button have a led on it? Thanks.

Yes, it does have a led in the start push button. However, I have not put on a ground nor hot lead so it does not light in this video. I got a new phone with a better camera, and am going to remake this video shortly. It will be hooked up in that one.

Have any issues with all the led switch lights draining your battery or are they only turned on when your accessory switch is on?
